Wow! Pomni and Jax are getting along! (I wouldn’t exactly call them friends yet but what a promising start!).

My personal theory to this is that Pomni may be a little sick of Ragatha’s toxically positive attitude and meaningless words of sympathy. Which fits with Ragatha’s characterization but isn’t what Pomni needs after everything that has happened.

What Pomni is looking for in the circus is sincerity, someone who doesn’t pretend everything is fine 24/7. Someone, like Jax.

Quite honestly I should’ve expected things to go this way. I had made the idea a long time ago that Jax is constantly pushing others away because he knows that nothing in the circus is forever, especially your fellow cast mates.

He definitely reprimanded himself for getting close with Pomni since he knows how getting close to someone can put you in the position to get hurt and my guess is that he may have learned that on the real world too not just the circus.

I love how even after the fight they had, Pomni still checks on Jax and reassures him.

I believe she’s more emotionally intelligent than Ragatha since she recognizes Jax’s behavior comes from a place of hurt rather than twisted pleasure.
