Hip-to-hip, elbow-to-elbow, nudging each other like excitable children as they both brushed their teeth, beaming at each other in the mirror.
Ilya felt giddy with it. He'd never known love like this. Even almost two weeks into his (now extended) trip to the cottage, and he was enjoying every second with Shane, the whole thing feeling like the most amazing sleepover he'd ever had. It took his breath away, how easily he and Shane got along. For so long, they'd only had stolen moments, times to fuck and be fucked, but now...they'd been able to enjoy each other. Talk, relax, bicker, joke, play.
He'd loved every fucking second of it.
So now he stood next to Shane, beaming as he brushed his teeth, watching his boyfriend glance at the two-minute time he'd set (for optimal toothbrushing time).
The moment the timer beeped, Ilya made his move.
Gently shoving Shane away from the sink with his hip, he made a show of spitting out his toothpaste, planting his feet on the floor and completely blocking the counter.
Immediately, Shane grunted in annoyance, trying to say something and only succeeding in making a few odd noises. So instead, he elbowed Ilya.
"Ah, no, Hollander, is impolite," Ilya said with a smirk, taking his time washing his mouth out. "Guests first, right?"
Again, Shane grunted, gripping his toothbursh in his mouth so he could use both hands to push at Ilya.
"So rude, Shane!" Ilya said with faux-shock, his smile stretching even bigger. "What would mama Yuna think?"
But now Shane seemed (attractively) pissed, removing his toothbrush from his mouth and directing it towards--
"Oh my GOD Hollander!" Ilya shrieked, nearly diving out of the way as he covered his ear, which had almost been stabbed with Shane's foaming weapon.
Letting out a noise of triumph, Shane moved over and spit, washing out his mouth before turning to Ilya with his hands on his hips. "Asshole!"
"Ah, no. That was you. You almost killed me!" Ilya said dramatically, gesturing to his head.
"Well, next time, use the guest bathroom!" Shane replied, his smile brighter than the sun.
"Then I would not be able to share with you! I would not see you for five whole minutes! Would be a crime!"
The other man shook his head, obviously trying to hide his affection. "Rozanov, you're ridiculous."
Ilya took it as a love confession. Wrapping his arms around Shane, he pressed a kiss to his jawline. "Ah, but you like it."
"Mmm. I guess someday we'll have to get a house with two sinks in the main bathroom. That'd solve that problem, hm?" Shane murmured, already moving to do his skincare routine, even with Ilya plastered to his side.
But Ilya nearly burst open with happinesss at the thought.
