I'm drawing Aiko btw

Here is a short introduction of this charming young man.

Full Name: Aiko de Shannon (He's my French boy)

Title: Heir to a Duchy

Occupation: Noble (technically)

Mother: The Duchess. Officially a respected noblewoman. Unofficially the owner of several taverns and discreet brothels scattered across the kingdom. If there's music, cheap wine,and a son who's causing trouble she owns the building.

Father: Unknown. (Maybe a client of his mother)

Born into nobility, Aiko is expected to inherit an entire duchy one day. (LOL, AGAINST His WILL, HUH)

His childhood was... unconventional. His mother was almost always busy running businesses, attending banquets, or mysteriously disappearing for "work". As a result, Aiko was mostly raised by servants, tutors, bartenders, and whichever tavern regular happened to be the nicest that week.

Needless to say, he has spectacular mommy issues.

Canon silly facts

- Smokes weird thing.

- Can identify good wine despite not caring about noble culture. He enjoys playing the expert.

- Writes poetry and He's pretty talented lol even if it doesn't always make sense, but free my boy

- hIs technically rich but somehow never has any money.

- Frequently vanishes for hours and returns as if nothing happened with a broken arm and high as fuck

- Has no idea who his father is and treats it like an awkward fun fact. (In reality, he thinks it's one of his mother's clients.)

- Most tavern owners know him by name.... often because his mother owns the place.

- Is legally the heir to a duchy and emotionally just some random guy.

- If an older woman is nice to him for more than five minutes, congratulations—you've just activated his mommy issues. (My boy😭)

- Has walked into the wrong room with complete confidence more times than anyone can count.

I turned around.

A young soldier sat against a broken cart, holding his arms.

"When I'm scared, I write to my mother."

He gave a small laugh.

"My friend writes to his brother."

He looked at me for a second.

"What about you? Do you write to your family?"

I shook my head.

"No."

"You don't?"

I can't.

He frowned.

"I never learned how to read."

"...Or write."

For a moment, he didn't know what to say.

"So... what do you do when you're scared?"I looked up without thinking.

The sky was clear.

Blue.

So blue it almost didn't seem real after a day like this.

"I look at the sky."

"The sky?"

It doesn't ask me To give him orders."

It just stays there.
