Dragon's breath part 1: the tail trio
After jubgle juice's writing wnet down the toilet, I decided why not make a pastiche with my own spin on it? I can't help myself man, it's in my dna to do this. So yeah, this is heavily inspired by jungle juice, only it has reptile people instead of insect people.
The premise is this that people around the world have been affected by an experimental uncontrollable medical serum called "dragon's breath" that merges the dna of humans with the dna of reptiles, turning them into "reptiloids" and giving them reptilian abilities called "lizard brains". The plot taoes place on "reptile isle". An island made to be a sanctuary for reptiloids and for them to become better adjusted to theur new physiology.
And I'll start with the main three characters I call "the tail trio". I'l let you guess why their called that.
Leonard "Len" Garfield
A short, shy, and demure young man from new south wales, australia. His lizard brain is "golden spiny-tailed gecko", with his main ability being to shoot a sticky, foul smelling slime from his tail. He got his lizard brain from a golden spiny-tailed gecko that squirted him in the face while he was hiking. His appearance is a more extreme case, with him resembling and anthropomorphic spiny-tailed in appearance. Because of the bitter smelling slime he produces, it has made him something of an outcast. He also has a huge crush on kyung-mi choi, a charismatic member of the class committee.
Qing-Ling Zhou
A short, but very loudmouthed and outspoken young woman from guangxi, china. Her lizard brain is "long-tailed grass lizard", with her main ability being her 5-meter long prehensile tail. She got her lizard brain from a long-tailed grass lizard she found in her backyard. Her appearance is one of the more moderate cases with her main reptiluan traits being her claws and tail. Qing-Ling is very outspiken and doesn't like to speak with a filter. She is also sick of being looked down on for her short stature. She is len's best friend.
Manuel "Manny" Celerio
A tall, proud young man from sonora, mexico. His lizard brain is "zebra-tailed lizard", with his main ability being his lightening fast movement speed. He got his lizard brain from a zebra tailed lizard he caught while out jogging. His appearance is a more moderate case, with his reptiliam traits being his dewlap, long legs, large semi-digitgrade feet, and his long striped tail. He tends to show off his speed a lot to the other students, though it really stems for his insecurity of feeling like a one-trick pony compared to everybody else, so he compensates by clinging to his speed a lot.
