“Are you okay?”

He decided to hide behind a building to avoid being spotted for now. The little rest he had now would help him recover his breathing a bit before he can take off running again. Being found in a dead end would surely not be good at all.

It was rather strange that his body was going on instinct to avoid these monsters. Something that he was just not used to. He can’t even imagine what would happen if he did get caught–

No, he shouldn’t think about that right now. He should be more concerned about the girl that was also in the same place with him.

His breathing only became more erratic from trying to run as fast as he could. He was able to cast a basic spell as a distraction to escape the monsters but it only made him exhausted having to set up a simple chain while making sure none of those creatures were in close distance.

He needed to find a better place to keep his distance.

“Huh?”

He took notice of someone else in his path. Were they aware of the monsters headed this way?

The blaring sound of the announcement caught the teen off guard.

He didn’t know what to make of it at first. This was a much different situation than what he was used to. The peace and, albeit, stagnation of the same old things everyday was something he’s used to. Sure there was always strange things back home but it wasn’t really something that caught Sig off guard. It was usually normal to him.

However, this was surely something different.

The sounds of screaming and running were a lot different than anything he’s experienced.

Curiosity only got the best of him though as he wanted to know about these monsters. However it only resulted in him taking off in sprint the moment he was spotted. While his expression looked relatively the same, his eyes told a different story by how he felt about this. He couldn’t quite explain it himself.

Time to get things rolling for part two. I was sidetracked for part one so hopefully this will make up for it.

Starter call for part two event to help this puyo kid out. He’ll be trying to distance himself but he can’t cast spells unless he sets up his chains so he’ll need a bit of help not being caught off guard. I’ll be capping this at 2.
