His breathing only became more erratic from trying to run as fast as he could. He was able to cast a basic spell as a distraction to escape the monsters but it only made him exhausted having to set up a simple chain while making sure none of those creatures were in close distance.
He needed to find a better place to keep his distance.
“Huh?”
He took notice of someone else in his path. Were they aware of the monsters headed this way?
“Hey, we need to find a safer place. More…of those monsters are coming here…” he told the other once he was close enough, though Sig himself was trying his best to catch his breath. He was trying his best to recover after covering quite the distance.
