I’m really enjoying this old man fisher character. I’ve got a couple of game ideas in the works but so far the idea of a game about a fisherman sounds the most interesting.

This is easily the stupidest thing I’ve ever made.

The game game out yesterday. It’s done, it’s released, it’s finished and (as far as I know) bug free! Quadrantica is a game about strategically solving puzzles using various methods. Every move you make affects other parts of the puzzle in different ways, so you have to use logic and planning to figure out how the different mechanics interact with each other, and how your move will affect the set of puzzle pieces. I’ve never released a game on Steam before so I’m not sure about the specifics of it, but the game is definitely coming out sometime in March. Also, I renamed the game from “ALOH” to “QUADRANTICA”, which I think is more fitting and cooler.

Figuring out this UI layout has been the bane of the past two weeks, but I think I’ve got it now.

I don’t think I’ve posted gamedev related stuff in months. I’ve been busy as hell, here’s a WIP screenshot of a game I’ve been making called ALOH. A puzzle game about finding the optimal way to make blocks the same color.  Also renaming to the blog to the company name because why not, it’d be silly to throw away all my thousands and thousands of followers! (I think I have like 120 or something)
