I mean, he might be living off a government grant, but then again, if he's a regular dude, you'd think he works at a a McDonald's or some shit. Idk can someone well-versed in OPM lore like @gofancyninjaworld help me out here? Is there other fan speculation around this? Is it ever mentioned in the webcomic or manga? Is Genos the one providing? Am I missing the joke? Please, I am genuinely losing my mind over this stupid ADHD-brained gay egg.

No but like, anytime something happens in the OPM manga or webcomic that the fans don't like, they complain about it and go "Oh, ONE could never do any wrong, he's a perfect angel, let's blame Murata instead!"
