This is literally what people are talking about when they say AI will be used to mainstream widely held bigotry. LLMs are trained on frequency and probability -> straight relationships are more well represented in the dataset -> straight pronouns and terms become the "correct" normal.

This is a form of backdoor bigotry from both normative facts (there are more straight than gay relationships) and well represented bigoted beliefs (men are superior to women).

Combine this with the mass of people inclined to believe (and being encouraged to believe) that if AI says and does something it must be correct

I really like the idea that Eridians mostly use crushing force to kill their prey. They're incredibly heavy and extremely strong, and in both the book and movie Rocky cracks open a kind of shell and mashes up his food into tiny pieces before eating it. Especially if they're ambush preadators, five legs could be used to hold and constrict prey, maybe tucking it underneath them and crushing it with their body weight.

So when Grace starts showing him other Earth animals, and the animals that humans eat, Rocky is confused. He knows that humans must (somehow) be the apex preadators of their own planet, but he doesn't see how anything Grace-shaped could kill a mammoth, or even a deer. When he asks, Grace explains that humans developed tools early in their evolution, and become the dominant species through innovation, and before that, through persistence hunting.

Rocky accepts this, it makes sense; there are certain intelligent species on Erid that, while physically weak prey animals, could potentially have been intelligent enough to evolve had Eridians not done so first. He classifies humans this way, and keeps that notion until they get to Erid, and the starvation begins, and makes Grace hungry and worn and ragged and angry, until the first bit of cloned muscle meat is presented to him and Rocky, still the only one who can really stand to be in the room with him as he eats, watches something a little less than human surge forward, drawn out by starvation, and very suddenly he realises that humans are not built to be prey, that when everything on your planet is soft and fragile, toughness is not what categorizes a predator, and he had never paid enough attention to how sharp Grace's teeth are.
