Anyways I’ve tricked myself into not minding as much by writing while on a stationary bike.

They weren't friends, but I sometimes saw them nearby, not interacting. And it drove me crazy, i really wanted to make an AU where Jon and Martin met at an anime convention, I don't know if it was before or after the institution, but I really wanted to do something like this, a drawing or something written in AO3

These two men are so tragic. They aren’t particularly compatible, they’ve actively had to go through a lot to see each other romantically and they mention this in the show, but they love each other so that doesn’t matter to them. And they are not a healthy relationship, they cannot communicate for the life of them, they are so deeply attached to each other but don’t actually seem to understand it fully. For this ramble I also have to mention that Martin so clearly has BPD, I’m very happy to make another post about this but its my personal headcanon that he has borderline personality disorder.

Martin has known capital-T Things about himself that he hopes upon all hope that no one else knows. Mainly, that he’s a big guy because he likes food, likes eating, likes the outcome of how the food and the calories settles on his body. He absolutely loves how his body looks, and he knows that’s okay, but he hasn’t had a second to bring his… feedist, weight-related sexy thoughts up with Jon to see if there’s any alignment between them but– If the way Jon’s bulge is pressed against his belly is anything to go by, Martin might not need to worry about rejection as much as he thought he would. “Is it alright if I… take care of you, Martin?” Jon murmurs, a not-exactly-small wedge of cheese in his hand. Martin’s mouth waters as he eyes the lattice pattern of what must be wine soaked cheese and, fuck, that’s more than okay. Or, The Upton Safehouse proves to have good food, a safe bed, and… shenanigans ensue.
