Have you ever wondered if two brothers can love each other a little too much? Lune and Totoro would argue NEVER! They are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable. These boys are two peas in a pod and take on the world side by side, paw in paw. Whether it’s late night zoomies, mounting an escape out the screen window, or snuggling up with their foster mom for cuddle time, these boys are together. We are desperately hoping we can keep them together and find a home where their love affair can continue. Despite their olympic level cuteness these boys have not received any interest in the last 6 months! While they love their foster moms, the ultimate goal is always to find our kitties a furever home.
Lune and Totoro are extra special because they are both FeLV+. This is a lifelong virus that compromises their immune system and predisposes them to certain illnesses later in life. It also means they are likely here for a good time, not a long time. This makes them a perfect pair for someone with commitment issues who isn't looking for a 20 year relationship. This virus does not affect humans or dogs. Right now, Lune and Toto are healthy, happy boys with no ongoing issues. They just need a home with an abundance of love and good vibes. If you need double the whiskers and double the snuggles to brighten up your life, these boys are for you.

PigPen is a quiet little guy who enjoys having a close cat friend that is already adjusted to the home. He is a young cat at about 6 months old who came in due to medical issues. He has since put on a healthy weight and enjoys being indoors only. He can be a little bit shy at first but enjoys being pet and brushed and will make biscuits all day!

“Beanstalk” is what we call this Abyssinian tabby boy. He is stunning with his ticked fur! He is one kitten with everything going for him…looks AND personality. Beanstalk is one of four kittens and he was lucky to have been born at RESQCATS. His mom was abandoned by his owners when they fled the neighborhood in Santa Maria and left her behind…PREGNANT! She arrived just in time to give birth in a comfortable, safe place here. Beanstalk is playful, regal and oh so lovable. Don’t let this one get away. He has siblings if your heart is open to two.

First Gentleman is a charismatic boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s incredibly affectionate, thrives on human companionship, and proudly follows his people from room to room like a loyal aide—always nearby, always involved.

BACKGROUND: Bebo was found with a severely broken jaw after the misaligned bones had already fused and it was beyond surgical correction, though his teeth were removed to help him eat better within the restricted mobility. He was adopted and adored, but an unexpected life change for his adopter meant he has returned our care.
PERSONALITY: Bebo is a very energetic and playful bicolor-eyed boy! He will jump for feather wands and likes the uppermost perch of his comfy cat tower. Confident and charming, Bebo can be carried like a baby, loves ear scratches, and a snug hug is just the ticket for him-he likes being pressed against your chest. This is handy since he often needs chest fur cleanup due to his messy eating and drooling that results from not being able to fully close his mouth. (You'll often see his cute tongue, though!) While his traumatic injury has left him with some accommodation needs, Bebo forges ahead without concern. He is friendly and talkative and responds to his name; good conversations are just part of the loving companionship Bebo offers!
COMPATIBILITY: Bebo is social with other cats though would also likely be comfortable as an only cat. We don't know his opinion of dogs. Young children would not be a good fit, though cat-savvy kids elementary-age and up may be all right.
While his traumatic injury has left him with some accommodation needs for the jaw deformity, Bebo is medically sound and his spirit has never faltered. Will you match his love and get a lifetime of joy with this sweetie?

Meet this big handsome man, who unfortunately came to our recuse after the last 15 years with his family. Koa had to come to our rescue due to family issues, has extensive medical records as he was on a permanent wellness plane. Koa also had routine vet visits, Koa is considered obese at a whopping 26 pounds. He love to be pet and cuddled and would love for you to be his fur-ever home!

Isabeau is a beautiful cat. She was born with swimmers in her back legs she recovered and can do anything any other cat can. She does have a very distinct walk because of her back legs but it does not slow her down one bit
She is 10 months old
she enjoys playing with toys and loves running she gets the zoomies. She is absolutely adorable.
She is litter box trained
She loves to cuddle in blankets
She is very friendly and loving.

Tallulah is a little princess. She's still a baby, less than a year old. Very friendly and outgoing with people. Still a little defensive with other cats but she seems interested in a playmate.
