Oh yeah, definitely, I cleared that up with someone else who talked about writing a murderer who has ASPD but the story explains why and the character has a personality, y’know? Basically I’m just tired of the cliché you just described and too many people write stories, especially horror or thriller, based around a villain who’s a psychopath and the reason for their actions is just that, well, they’re a psychopath and so obviously they’re evil.
