Saint Michael de Sanctis

September 29,1591-April 10, 1625

Feast Day: April 10

Patronage: Cancer patients, struggle with temptation, anxiety, inner struggles, emotional turmoil, mental illness

Saint Michael de Sanctis was born in Spain when Europe was experiencing many conflicts. At 6 years old he informed his parents that he wanted to be a monk and at 8 made a vow to chastity. In 1603 he joined the Trinitarian Friars. Wanting a more austere life he joined the Discalced Trinitarians and was ordained a priest. He was appointed Superior twice but always practiced mortifications with long hours of prayer. He had a great devotion to the Eucharist, even having ecstasies after the Consecration. Michael was devoted to the Blessed Mother Mary and led a life of purity.

so i have the framework for a letter explaining what exactly it is i do for work (real ethical work which i would prefer be my only income rather than "shady gig work") and how i plan to crawl the fuck out of these circumstances i'm in but i will flesh those out when i'm not actively trying to find basic needs.

tldr i live at the whim of a system which thrives on using circumstances such as my own as a trap to keep people who have no support network stuck, and to keep their lives a mess with no ways out, so the best i can do is resort to the first instinct we all have when we're born which is to Cry For Help

anyway "in between" housing and really desperately need to save some of my belongings- most of them are getting tossed and that's just fine i'll cope- but Some are very specific to my Line Of Work which purposefully also lines up with How To Save My Toddler. here's a screenshot and a link and a reluctant whore showing up to ask you to share it once again. really trying my best to stfu about this stuff soon is that none of you ever hear anything about it again besides "thank you."

this is a several year long battle for my right to sit in a poorly insulated apartment and work a soul-draining hr job and have all of my children under one roof and drive them to baseball practice or whatever and Be Quiet and Mind My Business and Not Bother Anybody and Not Have Majorly Traumatic Multi Year Disruptions Ever Again.

Ecce Homo

This Virgin, truly wise and prudent, walked in the way of the Lord in the simplicity of her soul, and being made perfect in a short space, fulfilled a long time. During her lifetime she was known only to a few, but immediately after her saintly death her fame spread abroad in marvellous fashion throughout the whole Christian world, on account of the innumerable wonders wrought by Almighty God at her intercession. Indeed, it seemed as if, in accordance with her dying promise, she were letting fall upon earth a shower of Roses. Hence it came to pass that Holy Church decided to bestow upon her the high honors reserved for the Saints without observing the statutory delays.
