Nvm my problem was that I was trying to fit 10000 pixels worth of detail into 16x16 pixels which is actually not possible it turns out

does anyone knowwww how come if I take a lil pixel art style image and resize it down to 16x16px it looks like shitttt? any of y'all artsy types who can explain to me, a person with less than 0 artistic skill or talent?

#I know setting to nearest neighbour and scaling by an even % or whateverrr #but it just looks so shitty when I resize it and it's making me become violent #PLEASE don't tell me to just touch it up myself 😭#I will try but that's not what I want to be told lmfaoooo
