Mostly kept secret by the damires themselves. All we can know is that there was a long time ago something that caused them to flee to the North and South Poles. That the extreme cold has changed their bodies enormously to the point where they are totally immune to harsh environments such as the poles, very arid and hot areas.
Rumours have it that they are the evolution of a species of unicorn that has now disappeared. This story often makes them laugh.
Their way of life is very similar to that of the Celtics and Vikings, but turned towards a side of merchants and adventurers, rarely violent.
At both poles are the capital, both are directed to a group of six people. Which are renewed every six years, by a vote or sometimes in some cases by appeal of the gods. In the capitals, there are small towns and villages.
Religious life is articulated around six different deities: Akoms, God of Fire, Mamir, God of the Earth, Emtia, Goddess of the Air, Athysy, Goddess of the Water, Sohlan Divine of Light and Phorano, Divine of the Dark. Their main temples are in the capitals, but altars and small temples have been found all over the small towns and villages. It is possible to have a dialogue with these deities.

During their flight, the damires brought with them an animal called the Yackos, they really look like a yak. But they are bigger, their tongues and blood are blue in color.
They are rather calm animals, they rarely panic. They live in small herds of 8-13 individuals, led by the oldest female in the group.
In the eyes of the damires, they are sacred, so it is not surprising to see them roaming freely in the cities.
