"—yeah I fucking heard you." Frank looked at the body on the ground and then back at the stranger. He couldn't tell if the other guy is lying or not, so his finger is still lightly resting on the trigger. "Alright, let's say you didn't, why the fuck are you here then? The guy on the ground is known for smuggling shit. You here to get something or move something?"

"They set that guy, with the kid, up for failure. No one wants to go near him or pair up with him. They're talking about being a step-parent, but no one wants to be second choice when it comes to being in a relationship like that. I mean, I understand, the kid comes first, but these are like young twenty something adults. They don't want to deal with it. They're trying to have fun. They understand they won't ever be prioritized over the kid, either."

"What the fuck!" Frank gets up, backing away when he sees a hoard of cats just crawl over the roof. "Is this real?" He quietly asks himself, wondering if he's hallucinating again. The mix of meows and howls make him second guess himself. He quickly takes his phone out, quickly flicking to the camera to see if this is really happening. He sees the cats on his screen, and he lets out the breathe he's holding. "Fuck! What the fuck is happening?!"

The visual hallucinations are usually a mix of people he knows with weird shit also mixed in. He usually knows that person isn't real but he has more tools on hand to reassure himself that he's experiencing a hallucination. He can take a phone out and use the camera or Max usually doesn't react. But there are times where it's so convincing that he will answer back to whatever the hallucination is telling him. So far, no one has seen this happen but he knows it's only a matter of time.

"I know." Frank said softly reaching for her. "I just—you've already see me at my worst, y'know? You've actually seen me when I've been at the very bottom, Karen. I don't—It's hard to keep showing you when I don't know...I worry that it's a lot."

"I'm gonna ignore the fact that you're equating my mental illness with violence and just ask you what the fuck do you want, Natasha?" Frank didn't even bother putting his hand on his holster. She's much faster than him anyway. It wouldn't be worth the time to bother with. He's more comfortable being a grizzled old dog.

"Everyone has poor communication skills. She wants grits but she didn't tell him that and then she said he's too "L.A." Is the dating scene like this? Is it this much of a hellscape?"

"Ok—I feel bad for that guy. No one picked him, and then the other guy got two girls. Looks like someone else is about to be left behind."

"Spit in her mouth? I thought this guy said he has a kid back home. Does he know the kid might see this shit later when they grow up? Why didn't he do that other fucking show? Love is blind?"

"Starting off real strong with saying he wants a "alpha-woman" because he's too lazy to pursue or do anything in the relationship. Truly, changing the dating game." Frank said his voice dripping with sarcasm, staring at the tv. "Micro, these guys are assholes."
