At first I thought HeR made his date of hire 9/11 as a clue that he was not a good guy and I thought jeez that’s a little grim

Then I realized that this game came out in 1999 and it was meant to be completely benign 

She admitted to loving Nancy like she was one of her real daughters. Which is a lot of what inspired her to make Nancy the way she is, the way she hoped that her own daughters would be like her. Which is sweet in a way. Nancy became a role model for millions because Harriet loved her and wanted the best for her as if she was her own child.

And that's part of what makes Ned's creation so sweet. How many mothers would love to create the perfect man for her daughter? All the ones that love their daughters probably. Every bit of him was designed to be the perfect man for Nancy. To me he's really the perfect man in general, but that's besides the point. He was everything she needed or wanted. It's unfortunate that HeRInteractive's kneecapping of Ned's character makes it harder for people to see who he really is.

On the other hand it's really fortunate for me because I never run out of post ideas. I get to keep explaining that Ned is actually a good character when he's given the chance.

Anyway, It's just a sweet thought of a woman creating what she thought would be a perfect boyfriend for her daughter.
