im convinced that the people saying c!quackity has been manipulative and evil from the beginning are the same as people who say that about c!wilbur
@subscribe-to-technoblade you are the smartest person ever actually
YES HOLY SHIT i swear some of you people see a morally corrupted character who was well-written enough that who theyâve become isnât completely unrecognizable to the person they used to be and their fall from grace didnât come completely out of nowhere and go damn i guess this means that they were evil all along?? i guess???
the fact that the characterization of c!wilbur and c!quackity (for example) has remained somewhat consistent despite the fact that experiences theyâve had have changed them as people and muddled their ethics to the point of effective villainy doesnt mean that those characters never underwent change and were always bad manipulative people, itâs just a basic understanding of how to build compelling characters !! not to mention that it robs those characters of any nuance or growth theyâve undergone by deciding that itâs not possible that they are complicated and instead have secretly been terrible from the beginning /nm
