A Dumpster Fire

My grandma is unfortunately on her deathbed. My family growing up was pretty distant, so she practically raised me. To say I’m miserable about it is saying the least.

I’m so unbelievably exhausted by everything and especially The System™️. My poor grandma has been so unbelievably wronged by everything, and yet she still chose to get up every day and be the best person I’ve ever encountered. She’s kind, she’s giving, she never met a person she couldn’t make happy. It’s so damn unfair the way that she’s been treated overall by the healthcare systems, and everything in general.

I cannot tell you how much garbage we’ve slugged through since 2012 trying to get her healthy again. Maybe if the doctors listened sooner, maybe she’d have gotten another shot. Maybe we could’ve planted flowers together again. Maybe I could’ve had one last long talk about my day.

Like, what do you mean I’ve watched the same show at least 20 times in the past 6 months and can barely function without it? My friends and family are concerned about me.
