I know I try not to go too off into this topic on this blog here but you all know I write it so let's talk about it a moment. Under a cut for easy ignoring.
Those who've never touched the body of another human being, who have no desire to, write some of the most intimate and absolutely fucking disgusting smut. You need to know this first because, as all writing, you don't actually need to do to write.
You can research...and there's plenty to be had in this department.
You can't tell a virgin wrote shit, you are a liar.
What you're noticing is someone who is indulging in desires and fantasy without bothering to learn the reality they're trying to bend. You get it a lot in smut written by straight men, actually. This is why the 'breasted boobily' thing is so very funny.
Some people do write that way. There's also the real life, a person wrote that, stories where women's nipples become erect at every opportunity for any reason and it's not even porn (Stephen King, seriously, are you okay).
They're indulging a fantasy, however absurd, and it doesn't hurt you to let them.
As for the awkward stuff, some do write that! It's very fun! It's also adorable in the context of new couples when there's mention of prep and where to put what and how and it can be intimate and sweet in its awkwardness. Early finishers are also a delight and you will never convince me otherwise because how sexy is that, really, they enjoyed them so much they couldn't last as long as they desperately wanted to?
But, like the flying by the ignorance of anatomy fantasies, whether accurate or not, what matters is that it's entertaining.
If you're going to porn for realism you're diluted and if you're getting your sex ed from it you're going to get the wrong information no matter which sort you look at.
This isn't educational it is self-indulgent escapism. Even in the filmed sort those are actors who require someone to 'get them ready' (fluffers is far too cute of a name for that) before the shooting begins (sometimes in the middle even) because it is a job to them and a fantasy for you.
You can find information on anatomy and reproduction that isn't meant to titillate and will teach you how the basics work if you're looking for instruction.
But porn is for fun. Let people have their fun.
