Here goes the first speed paint video…a delayed dream, BUT, it’s here…finally, my current stage of art is not consistent, approaching final semester exams and the art was done in different pars over nearly a whole month, but check it out, I will try to post better quality art form once my exams are finished etc

Gday Elizabeth, sorry for the late reply, I haven’t been active on Tumblr as before, and to answer your question, improving your manga skills would require patience, practice everyday for 30 minutes say practicing portraits or anatomy will slowly allow you to develop your skills and confidence, as for style of drawing, each Manga artists adopts their own style, try looking at different artists such as the author of “Black Butler (kuroshitsuji)” or Blue exorcist, do a few imitation drawings and adapt their style, but slowly changing overtime with your own unique style if you choose that a pathway. Hopefully I haven’t bored you with this long post ;).

Well, the lack of updates can be explained....university!! anywaaaaaaays, during my studies i have been thinking of approaching a different method of colouring, water colouring etc to bring out realism sort of thing, here’s my failure rough splash....just splash and go :/ oh well, more practice practice and practice but then again....exams coming up ;_;

Hi Zev, thank you for having interest in working with me, however im afraid i have to decline, i'm going to be having commitments in life such as university and job etc, so i won't have as much free time spent on digital illustration :(

So...after being away for university entry exams, I have finally finished (2 weeks ago) and now slowly getting back into drawing, been busy lately as well with life :/ but the inserted picture is a sneaky preview of my next work ;)

All 3 major works bubble wrapped ready for display. A years worth of progress finally concluded.

Sample print from a high quality printshop from a university. A4 size currently but final work is going to be a1 in size. 7 months of work concluding. And of course to avoid certain technical difficulties I changed some of the famous icons etc.

I have tried a new method to invoke a 3D effect through copic markers. Stare into the eyes of each character. About 10-20 seconds it may be evoked. "May". Don't have grey shading :( otherwise would of been better (break from digital drawing)

i modified my master piece, doesnt look much, but the backgrund is coming in real sweet and the initial skin colouring is settling in nice. time for a break. ^_^
