I got to see BTS live in concert, immediately followed by a Jikook live and I think I have legit ascended. 😇

I got to HEAR THEM LIVE. With my own fucking ears. Even though I was sat the very back, it was insanely surreal.

Literally before going I told myself to buy binoculars but I forgot.

Yes, the concert was late. Yes it was fucking disorganised. I was told to go to the back and then had to circle around the entire stadium again to get to my entry point which took over an hour. I saw multiple people having panic attacks, a kid lost and sound check attendees who didn't make it into sound check in time.

And we were told no filming but the scanners weren't working, everyone filmed despite the boys comments and even I couldn't resist pulling my phone out.

You just...get swept up.

I told myself beforehand to prepare gifts but I ran out of time and I sincerely regret it. The next concert I will go all out. I got so many and I felt SO GUILTY taking them and having nothing to return. I literally wanted to give people money hahah. If you are international Army's especially, please partake in this practise. It's beautiful ❤️

But...despite the chaos it was still a good experience. I have patience and it was like watching ants in the distance 😂 but damn, those ants could sing.

Nothing can prepare you for that first wave of screams when they come out. It's simply leaves you speechless.

The vocals. Yes they really are that good.

And JUNG HOSEOK? Excuse me but he is genuinely so handsome every time he pops on screen you cannot help but smile. From a distance you can pick him out cause he's always grooving.

Namjoon? That boy is way more active than he appears. He's bopping round, interacting with others, coming out to the edges.

Taehyung probably had the most consistent loud screams when he came on screen. And Jin. Which surprised me? But also didn't. I literally heard women around me swoon which was new for me. They're extremely handsome and captivating but I think I'm used to the international army bias which I would say is more angled towards the 'cool guys'.

Jimin was literally working the stage non stop. Going all the way to the end of each arm of the stage at least once. Other members had an unconcious bias towards one side but I think he purposefully moves around more calculated. And yes...he's literally that breathtaking in person.

Yoongi actually caught me off guard. His cuteness and dialect, using his rapper tone vs singing tone. And K-Army are crazy about him too.

Jungkook's vocals. Face card. Dance moves. Cute little ment. Cute little 'take you out'. I finally got to see all of that in person and...yes. Just yes. Yes to every question you have. Just yes.

And Jikook...just when I was starting to doubt my status as a jikooker, they sat together at the end and then did a full fucking live afterward.

Life is so good today.

But PARK JIMIN?

Like...sir. SIR.

You cannot be that breathtaking and sound that good moving that effortlessly. I'm afraid it's illegal.

I'm OT7 and my eyes were darting across the screen constantly but every time I heard Jimin sing or come on screen I LITERALLY could not close my mouth. He sounded so confident singing, he moved so smoothly and was oozing so much confidence that it was almost healing to watch. I tend to rotate through different biases and have been on a pretty long Jungkook bias focus but Jimin bias wrecked me SO HARD.

Many stories and fan videos are centred around how ethereal he is. But truly, he was glowing.

Give that stylist a raise.

Jeongguk's brother decides to give them a little push.

10/10 tension, banter, build up and just overall great writing.

Twice,” Taehyung sighs. “Jungkook.” “I didn’t know what a banished Angel was!” “What’s his name, Jungkook?” “Um, Jimin. It’s Jimin,” Jungkook says. He watches as Lucifer’s jaw drops in shock. “There it is.” Taehyung lifts the bottle up again, drinking heavily from it. “You stuck your goddamn dick in one of Heaven's greatest warriors,” Lucifer says, “how the Hell are you alive?”

Talk about angels and demons done right. The moral dilemma, struggle and character growth in this is really beautiful and I love that it isn't super rigid within this au.

Spread (sheet) Your Heart (42265 words) by nelum Park Jimin doesn’t do feelings. Or dating. Or people, really. He likes numbers, structure, quiet libraries, and being left alone. Unfortunately, Jeon Jungkook doesn’t seem to understand the concept of leaving him alone, nor taking a hint. He’s relentless. Patient. And for some reason, completely convinced that Jimin’s worth the effort. It’s annoying. It’s overwhelming. And eventually—it’s everything. A slow unravelling. A soft becoming. The story of two people falling into something neither of them expected, and both of them needed.

We love emotionally constipated Jimin. Cute, slow burn, angsty and fluff. Yes, yes, yes.

This Whole Thing Is Not A Coincidence (12114 words) by Kageyama_Tobio_09 "For your mate?" the soft voice asks, and Jungkook laughs while shaking his head  "Oh no. Fuck. Jungkook should have looked at him from the start, because he knows his heart can't take this much beating in a matter of seconds.

Sometimes we all crave tooth-rotting fluff and this is where you'll find it.

Yes, Chef (7412 words) by LilacFaith Jungkook runs the line like a tyrant and Jimin hates him. Until one night the clock strikes midnight and Jungkook orders him to his knees.

Okay but THIS. This fic right here was hands down one of the best reads I've had in months. And I don't last for 100k word fics but it was so hilarious, well paced and engaging I just couldn't stop.

Giving Thanks [To Working Hands] (19390 words) by momora Jimin has a passion to abandon the ease of city living. The skillset, not so much. Thankfully, the handsome alpha living across the road is willing to lend a helping hand.

Easily my favourite discovery this year. Can't believe I haven't read this before and the author has so many other great stories too.

Little Menace (14762 words) by drynotwet Jeon Jeongguk thought he’d grow out of Park Jimin. Instead, he grew into him. From crazy tantrums to territory, Jimin had always known how to get his way— whether it was Jeongguk’s model airplane at six or Jeongguk’s heart at nineteen. And if Jeongguk was honest, there was never a part of him that didn’t want to be Jimin’s.

I seriously loved this read so much. Great voice and consistent characters. Love this pairing and trope so much.

How to Be a VILF (165837 words) by kittyganggang Jimin never wanted to sire anyone. He's perfectly satisfied living out the rest of his days with his six member clan. But when life has other plans for him, it throws him a fledgling named Jeon Jungkook who is too sweet for his own good and too beautiful for Jimin's. Now Jimin must welcome Jungkook into their clan and sire him into a vampire. What the fuck? Jimin did not sign up for this.

I don't understand how this doesn't have more kudos. Cute, newbie vamp Jungkook and teacher sire Jimin. Great read!

This fic was like crack. I inhaled it and downed this in one sitting.

Blooming Thorns (87423 words) by Charmander Years after a mutual split with his ex-mate, Jungkook, and caring for his ill mother, Park Jimin uproots his life in the city to move to a small town in the middle of nowhere, determined to make right all the wrongs he feels he’s done by being absent from his pup’s life. But building new bridges with a stubborn pup is a lot more difficult than falling into old habits—and old feelings—with an ex.

Great emotional read. Charmander for the win as always!

destined (98718 words) by JJ_army, tinymiminie It was fated. Call it destiny. Call it luck. He might not ever know. But it doesn’t really matter. A whole bunch of months later, Jeongguk is still helplessly pulled towards Jimin while the human still utterly despises him.

What can I say? Love the trope and Jimin's growth in this story. Cannot believe I didn't find this fic until now!
