Carter's eyes grew dim, they still had the glow, he could feel the serum reaching his heart, he gripped his chest. He began to cough out blood, as the serum was beginning to shut down his heart, although the healing from Hailey was making the pain subside he knew that it wouldn't heal him or push back the serum, it was coursing through his body too much. "I-I'm sorry" he said out loud, grabbing hailey's fur, feeling himself begin to lose consciousness.

Grayson felt himself feel a change. Seeing his body glow, a warming light came through him as he roared, feeling the piece of the talisman fall out his body, and it disappeared, feeling his body revert back, as he kneeled, holding his own body. He felt himself fall backward, feeling his mind blank, his brain a blank canvas as he couldn’t form a thought, he was too weakened. “No.” he breathed out, knowing they’d come for him and do the worse imaginable.

He felt his original past life, fade from him as his eyes stayed glowing white but felt the glow dim as he fell from the air, and feeling his body fall, he tried to stable his fall and his legs hit the ground feeling the pain shatter through that and his own body, falling back as well and beginning to feel the serum once again reach his heart attempting to kill him.

Hailey let out breaths that no longer hurt, her eyes closed as she pressed into him. She hadn’t expected this amount of power when she decided to face him, so being alive felt like a miracle. She saw him rise and she made Marcus turn, standing beside him, her shoulder touching his bicep, staring across the field at the now armed calvary that he’d summed to help him. She looked up at Marcus, almost expecting him to shift or do something but he just yelled and grew still, his eyes blankly staring off into the distance and she whined, nipping at his arm, trying to get him to do something.

Marcus felt himself blank out but soon felt a light, as he felt an energy within him resonate. He felt her presence, feeling her take over, although unsure what was happening. He soon came to eventually, seeing the guard’s around him, down. The hybrid looked and saw Hailey was okay, he realized Saraya had saved them. “Thank you Saraya.” he said looking up in the sky, before turning his attention to the wolf in front of them.

The wolf looked and saw the woman peeking through Marcus, Unsure of how or what happened. He didn’t care, but was angered by the woman’s ability to take down his guard’s. Grayson saw no choice but to take this moment, and chose to run before the hybrid came to, he began to charge away from the scene, he needed to survive, but soon saw a wall of fire make him jump away and try to run the other direction but soon felt the earth sink, trapping his paws and legs. He roared, trying to struggle to get free.

He was able to pull himself away from the situation he was in, allowing a vortex of air allow him to lift himself, his legs beyond in pain but he would refuse to let it show. Carter had to stop Grayson, seeing him try to get away. He yelled out, allowing fire to be sent in front of him, making him turn and using the opportunity, and making the earth become sinkable before trapping his legs. "Grayson, you will be stopped now." his voice booming as he stays afloat in the air. "Marcus." he asked, needing his assistance. Although Carter wanted to end the man's life, it would be too easy for the damage he's done to everyone. He allowed his arms, to move in the movement, hoping Marcus would follow, they needed get rid of his corrupted power, he bent the water that was from the plants and surrounded grayson, seeing the wolf struggle.

Marcus tried his best but even his hybrid self couldn’t fix what the serum was doing. Or at least he wasn’t sure if what he was doing working. He kept his eyes on Hailey, but turned slightly when he heard a growl, smelling the familiar scent. His eyes trained on the shewolf,…

"So you’re here to kill Carter?" He said confused, although knowing the amount of dead bodies it might’ve been by him. But probably due to the serum, knowing if it Carter himself he wouldn’t go to kill. Marcus side stepped out of the way. If anything maybe this is what he needed to get Carter to spring back, or at least Something. "Go ahead and kill him then." He said folding his hands behind his back. "Afterall one less supernatural for you, and one less druid I have to deal with." He said, wondering if she’d actually attempt it.

Carter had laid motionless the entire time when he was tossed far over here. He didn't know how he was managing to keep alive or what was keeping him tethered to the earth, after all he sure he would've died. He still felt the last remnants of his past lives, fighting to keep his body alive. To keep him from succumbing to the serum that was destroying his body. Although eventually he felt someone healing the serum. Although it didn't remove it but it pushed it away from his heart, it was being put into where it originally entered. Although it ceased, after a few. He felt, the energy. It felt like Saraya, which was impossible. He then heard a familiar voice, Marcus. It helped, to know he was there. Although, He heard Kacey, reminding him that he had killed, although he didn't regret it, the serum still reminding him that the man who started it all was alive, but not as bad as it was when it was first injected. He heard Marcus mention to kill him, and he didn't even wait for kacey to come at him. He sprung back up, his eyes glowing although he could feel the serum go back and flow through his body. He had to make every move count. He kept his fists up, preparing to fight both of them

Grayson took a few hits, healing almost as quickly as it injured him. He was breathing heavy, his body felt worn, but he kept still, staring and dodging what he could of the emissaries attacks. He had more power and experience, but Grayson could hold his own, and with the serum pumping through his system he was sure Carter would crack, just like they all did. He smirked as Carter approached him, already seeing the flicker in his eyes, and he started to laugh, seeing as he fell to the grass below. Grayson walked up to the boy and laughed harder, his hand grasping his hair and tugging his head back, “They always break.” He said in a dark voice, looking at how tired he was, “Such a waste.”

Carter felt himself to the ground he tried to struggle to do what he intended, if it came to this but the serum kept digging deeper now that it has reached through his whole body, he felt down feeling his power fade and the memories of his past lives as well, feeling them disappear from him as he felt his voice clouding his memory. He knew once the serum kicked in, he would die.

Grayson nodded as he stood, cracking his neck as he rolled his shoulders, “Alright. Two can play this game.” He said, his fingers rolling down on themselves, feeling the twitch of the metal car beside him. It was harder for him to move things, but it wasn’t impossible. He narrowed his eyes before he threw the object in Carter’s direction with a loud yell as it was physically exerting to throw such a large object.

Carter kept his stance steady, as he saw him getting up. He saw him move and actually toss the car without even touching it. He kept his place stomping the ground and allowing a wall of earth to protect him from the car being projected at him. He moved to the side of the wall and kept his fists up slamming in the air sending a few blasts of fire his way before moving his hands to take off some of the wall and project it at him. He had to stop Grayson by any mean's necessary. He charged towards the man, intending to scorch him as he prepared to send a huge burst of flame but as the flames started to appear, he felt the poison settle further inside him, feeling his muscle's tense as the flames disappeared. He yelled out in pain, collapsing to the ground. Feeling his power's dissipate slowly.

Grayson was trying to flee, as cowardly as it was, he couldn’t let this monster destroy what he fought to create, what he spent his whole life building; he needed to leave and he needed to get out of this town. He had heard the alarm go off and had run into the bodies of the fallen hunters he’d promised to protect, but they were replaceable, just like everyone was. He was out in the car when it flipped, the emissary had caught up and now Grayson was bleeding and fighting to climb out of the car. He stared at the monster he had strengthened, seeing the mayhem he was creating with a stone cold look, his head healing, “Poor boy needs powers to be strong, how unfortunate.” He sneered as he rolled his shoulders, “Bring it.” He said as he pulled a root and used the talisman around his neck to manipulate it and wrap around his leg, pulling him to the ground and bringing him to his level. “We told you how much of a monster you are, you just can’t admit it.” He said as he sauntered up to the boy, wrapping his hand around his throat, lifting him from the ground.

Carter had kept firing at Grayson, unaware of the root that was travelling all the way where he was, feeling it wrap around his leg and tugged him to the ground feeling his legs and body slam to the ground. Carter felt it, but the power that was flowing through him numbed the pain despite the poison's inner working. He felt himself grabbed by the throat and lifted up. The emissary stared the man down, he lifted a large piece of rock and slammed into the man's back, and then pressing his palms forward using a gust of air to shove him.
