She was listening with a curious gaze. These two sounded fantastic... part of her wanted to pry further, but maybe she could just meet them one day... wouldn't that be lovely?
... A little shard, hm...? ,,
Her hand pushes over her own chest... and she smiles. She seemed to find that thought comforting.
... So no one is ever truly alone. Some people cherish their alone time- I do as well, but... that's a lovely thought. Even if she isn't truly here, to have the notion that another living being's piece is with me, it's nice to think about. Humans really were never meant to be solitary creatures, after all. ,,
Dusk, he sounded lovely as well. With life came death after all, she was very at terms with her own inevitible passing. In fact, she was a little... too at terms with it. She's never considered herself afraid of death, she knew she would embrace it when it came.
... A likeminded soul, I wouldn't mind chattering away with him when he has the chance then. I have plenty to share myself. ,,
As he offers to help with her sleep, her head tilts. She guessed it did make sense for him to have such an ability, to dream was to rest most of the time... in this context especially. She would have to keep that in mind, and she even seems to mull it over as he says it. His mention of tea has her smile, and his little quip has her giggle softly.
... Lord, I do not need any more crazy dreams. As I said, I've had quite frightful ones. I wouldn't dream of giving myself worse ones if I can help it. I may... have to take you up on that though. If it could take away those dreams, that would be lovely... ,,
Sybil's eyes light up slightly as he mentions a god who's made the stars. Someone to praise for giving her life meaning?
... Oh, blunt and rude are very different. I would prefer someone who is blunt over someone who lies. ,,
As he talks about these godly rules, they sound easy to follow. Just... be respectful and don't kill each other. How difficult would that be to respect, she supposed it would be difficult depending on how they were personality wise. The mention of Koro though... her smile fades. She naturally felt for other people, considering she used to watch life from her window and watch people themselves. Even working her old job (who had fired her unfairly might she add,) she never really... connected with anyone who didn't approach her.
... How sad. I can't imagine what that's like, having others avoid you for something you can't even control. I'm glad you spend time with her at the very least... I would love to extend my own hand to her if she wished, I know how loneliness can get to you more than anyone. I can't expect her to accept it of course, but... if there is a chance I could help, I would love being able to. ,,
As the topic becomes lighter though, she smiles, shrugging.
... There are a lot of people out there with irrational fears. Some are afraid of large things, some are afraid of the ocean, some are even afraid of space itself. It all circles back to the uncertainy of the human mind, that fear of not knowing what might be out there or in there due to us not knowing everything about the universe. Even if I would love to have knowledge on everything forever... it beats that feeling of learning something new. To gain knowledge is rewarding, so what would we be giving ourselves if everyone knew everything all the time? ,,
Sybil honestly would make a really good teacher. But we're getting off topic.
... That should work. Poor Sam, he's never really explained why he dislikes them so much. He doesn't mean to, I know after that... incident with Pierre, ha... he got only marginally better about them. He spoke to me about it through the wall in such a fearful voice. ,,
She does lean in out of curiosity, reaching to feel the markings on his face. Her touch was gentle and exploring, a curiosity that couldn't be quelled.
... Fascinating... ah, excuse me. ,,
She sits back again, smiling in embarrassment. She was getting a bit ahead of herself, she waves a hand as if she was trying to wave that interaction away.
... ...is it always the same? Or can you change them around? I assume not if it's apart of your face, but... some gods can do wonderful things. ,,
