You're new here. Or you're old blood. Maybe you've never left, and will never really leave. Who you say you are doesn't really matter; small towns have a way of writing your story before you can spell it out.

As it stands, Willow Lake is picturesque and idyllic—with under 3,000 full-time residents, it remains a little slice of heaven on the foothills of Oregon, surrounded by greenery, including the eponymous willow trees, a cascading waterfall, and a lake that provides a pretty shore for the locals and thousands of summer tourists to enjoy.

It's peaceful here. An American ideal. Safe. Perfect.

Willow Lake is a fandomless discord group rp server for 21+ members and 21+ characters. Slice of life with mystery woven by each story thread and small-town crime elements. Unable to let go of her humanity and give into her vampiric desires of butchering and draining, her most adoring fan takes it upon themselves to keep her alive and fed— hoping to one day become her immortal companion.

Picture this: two characters are madly in love and have been obsessed with each other for a long time. They both have trauma and/or problems that they hide from each other. With enough time together, those sides start to come out more and it gets ugly. Yet they're so attracted and so in love that they stay with each other anyway.

I'm thinking we can create a fitting plot for this together. Some ideas include: wrestlers, criminals, childhood friends, college frat, competitive sports, the list goes on. I'm able to do realistic plots but I can also do something stemming from fantasy if preferred.

I enjoy playing morally gray (leaning towards bad/evil) traumatized characters against characters of a similar darkness. I want our characters to hurt each other. My character would be more of a verbally/emotionally abusive person and I'm seeking an opposing character that would more so be physically abusive. I'd love it if our characters could physically fight as well! Mine isn't the type to lie down and take it by any means.

I'm able to reply several times a week. I prefer at least two paragraphs, but I can easily offer more myself.

so... asylums anybody? I've been craving a mental asylum rp, maybe it's one that's a little old-timey, gritty, maybe not the best conditions. I had a thought revolving around the idea of my character being utterly and completely obsessed with yours, maybe ur character is a newcomer and mine's been there for a while or the other way around! and when I say obsessed, I mean *obsessed*

so bring me all your mentally unstable and fucked up freaks! all characters 20+ also. roleplay itself would take place on dc, I can write replies anywhere from 20 to 2000 words, and I reply pretty frequently. ooc chattering is important to me!

With the new Knot series coming out, I really would like to write something similar - brief chance meeting (by proxy?) of two fated mates which leads to the alpha obsessively chasing down his omega to claim them before shenanigans ensue! Are they both delighted, or are they bristling about suddenly being drawn to each other? I'm ready to plot that out with you!

Also, mind that I have very few limits and am open to so many tropes and kinks, so please be the same! NSFW is always welcome!

I mostly use rl faceclaims of (Asian) actors/musicians for my ocs and I would prefer you do the same (if not, written description is fine, just no animated or AI fcs), just to fit the vibe a bit more.

I write from 1k to 2k words per reply since I think that's a good length to build depth and character, and I love introspection and adding little background snippets into my replies, so please be the same! I can do rather fast replies, which means one reply a week is definitely too little for me, sorry!

I would like to at least meet your oc on Tumblr before moving directly to Discord after, also, to avoid unnecessarily switching there only for one of us wanting to back out. And now to plots, so the plots I’m looking for aren’t in any order, just ideas I would love to have fun w. So the first one, something with the deep dark web and crime filled stuff; our characters being involved in snuff filming and other such things in that territory ( torture vids, etc ). Maybe it’s a family business. Either way I’m imaging that my character was dragged into it, maybe started out as a victim in a situation and he manipulated his way out but on the condition he’s a camera man or participant in one way or another. ( Maybe drugging victims, clean up, the tech stuff, being involved in the torture himself, luring victims, etc ) Either way, after a long while of doing this in order to stay alive, it stopped being for survival and something he learned to sickeningly enjoy. He can’t resist the violence and blood, and /especially/ if it’s him being hurt and filmed. ( maybe it’s something only y/c gets to watch w the privilege of being m/c’s executor ) So ideally your character is shady, just as sinister and twisted, sadistic, violent, gruff/cold/unfriendly, etc. Their relationship? Maybe a brotherly business, y/c was his kidnapper, or y/c is the executor for films, maybe a “coworker” like relationship, a donor/sponsor for the films/business, etc etc.

Other ideas though, my character being a drug dealer and getting mixed in with some dark stuff beyond just a small time gig of dealing some grass, hallucinogens, adderall, painkillers, and coke. Maybe y/c is a crime lord, a hit man, a pimp/involved with trafficking, a drug lord, maybe y/c is a dear fan of his work, etc etc. and I always love some serial killer, kidnapping, or stalker plots ( serial killer bottom meets even more fucked up sick freak anyone? ). And any kind of toxic/abusive ( w it being mutually anyone? ) relationship I’ll eat up. I’m also very very very much okay w more slice of life styles too! Open to anything tbh! Vampires and Werewolves ( seriously this could work AMAZING for the plot ideas too ), monsters/aliens/creatures ( I’d kill for a creepy and horror type monster/creature/entity x human )omegaverse, supernatural stuff, hybrid/were stuff ( guilty guilty lover ), medical sciencey and experiment stuff, any classic tropes ( jock x punk, bully x loser, vampire/werewolf x human, vampire/werewolf x vampire/werewolf, band au stuff, rich guy x guy standing on his last leg, rich nepo baby asshole x punk drug dealer, friends to lovers, situationships, m/c stuck in a bad household/situation/relationship and y/c being his rock, predator x prey in every form, pimp x prostitute, pimp x drug dealer, mafia stuff, stripper x cop, criminal x cop, criminal x criminal ofc, and any of it rlly ). AND I LOVE love LOVE older bottom x younger top ( I do love vice versa just as much as well! )

I would really like to write a Frankenstein plot, but with a sexy twist. A mad doctor builds his perfect 'living' sex toy, building him a body that fits his type and bringing him to life! I would like to play the experiment in this plot, but i'm open to doubling if you want me to write you the top in another plot!

some notes about me: i'm lit to advanced lit, averaging usually about four paragraphs. i can do more or less depending on my partner and the roleplay itself. when i reach out to you, i will be expecting a writing sample. i can offer several in return. i write characters of any and every gender, and many of my ocs are poc and disabled. if you're not comfortable with playing against any of that, don't like this. also- i am an adult with a job, and during the school season, i am a student. my replies probably won't be daily, but they will be at least once a week, often more.

now, as for what i'm looking for: i would love to write enemies to lovers and/or slowburn. i have a lot of prebuilt ocs in a lot of different settings, but my favorites are high fantasy and futuristic settings. i want complex, genuine relationships with built out characters. because of this, these will be longterm roleplays. also- we don't need to be friends ooc, but it does tend to make me more interested in a roleplay, just as a note. i also have several plots that i've been waiting for a chance to write, so i'm happy to share those in dms- and if you have any you've been waiting to write, i'm doubles-friendly.
