- Since Oct 7 2023, MSF provided for 14000 hospital admissions and 7500 surgeries, on top of treating 27500 people for physical violence causes, treating 34000 people for diarrhoea (very common condition in Gaza currently due to the sanitary crisis) and holding 18000 mental health sessions.

-MSF is currently operating in two hospitals, eight healthcare facilities and fifteen mobile clinics, providing surgical support, wound care, physiotherapy, maternity and paediatric care, basic healthcare, vaccinations, and mental health services among other things (more info on the treatments provided by each facility on the link above). Additionally, they provide training for psychological, medical and paramedical volunteers, and donate first aid kits to various camps (info on the specific locations on the link above).

- Via their partnership with the Palestinian Agriculture and Development Association, they're building latrines for over 30000 people in six camps, distributing hygiene kits to 2400 families, and ensuring clean drinking water for 25000 people, on top of equipping a camp for 70 families with accessible sanitary facilities for disabled people.

- Since October 7, 2023, eight of their medics have died. Seven of them are remembered here, and their latest, Hasan Suboh, in this statement that denounces Israel's allies for disregarding the fact that the protection of humanitarian workers is not being guaranteed as they claim.

MSF does not only stand for Palestine in humanitarian terms, it also does so politically to an extent, holding Israel and its allies accountable for sabotaging ceasefire negotiation attempts.

Harmony & Co started out its life as a Facebook group years ago. And while the group itself has since shutdown, I have maintained this blog here for Harmony prompts.

But the time has come for the blog to end. As of now, I won't be publishing any more prompts for this blog. The prompts that have been submitted over the years will remain, so if you ever want to go browsing to find some inspiration, you can feel free to do so.

I loved every minute of being a mod of the FB group, and seeing the prompts come in over here always made my day. Thanks to everyone who has submitted your ideas over the years, and to those writers who took on the challenge to transform our ideas into great stories.

Snape was a death eater, he was a known death eater, he was the reason that Voldemort knew the prophecy, yes he was remorseful (to an extent, I believe he was only really remorseful for his part in Lily’s death)  turned spy, but only because Dumbledore helped him. 

Yes Sirius, who Dumbledore knows has rejected his parents beliefs for what like 10 years approx, and is a member of the order of the phoenix, didn’t get any help

Oh he was their best friend, he must has betrayed them?

Snape and Sirius, in many ways, are the same character - but there’s a major exception:  Snape pledges allegiance to Dumbledore, and proves himself over the course of the first war.  

Dumbledore knew that Voldemort would return, so he keeps the ex-Death Eater around with the sole intention of sending him back.  

We know from Sirius that membership of the Death Eaters isn’t something you can retreat from - so the chances of Dumbledore ever gathering another Death Eater to use as a spy is ridiculously unlikely.  

Sirius, on the other hand, has virtually nothing to offer.  He proved that he was a loose cannon whilst at Hogwarts, and his status as godfather meant that he may have been able to prise Harry away from the Dursleys - which Dumbledore knew would be dangerous.  

Dumbledore didn’t know for certain that Sirius was innocent, and for the most part, it didn’t matter.  Sirius wasn’t useful.  Also, see Remus - Dumbledore saw no use for him, so didn’t help him.  

But Bellatrix and everyone else, got a trial. Yet he didn’t. Why not? 

If he was guilty he was guilty, but if he was Innocent, Peter would have been arrested. 

He didn’t get one, but Dumbledore is a twit and a chess master. I think he knew that Peter was the traitor, but believed him to be dead because of sirius, so decided to pin it all on Sirius to keep him away from Harry.

And as for the other spy thing, it actually probably would have been useful, if Sirius had been a death eater. 

I think the reason Sirius wasn’t given a trial was because of the nature of his arrest. Sirius wasn’t arrested for betraying James and Lily, or even for being a Death Eater (though they may have already been hunting him down as a susppect). He was arrested was for being a mass murderer, and more specifically, for murdering thirteen people with one curse. Thirteen people! With one curse! A huge deal is made of this in the book, and indeed I don’t think we ever see multiple people being killed by one spell again in the series. (But feel free to correct me.)

This is basically the violent wizarding crime of the century.

And he stands among the wreckage and the dead bodies and he laughs.

I also think it’s probable that Sirius incriminated himself further - even twelve years later, he feels that he is responsible for James and Lily’s deaths, and says so in ways that make him seem more culpable than he was. He likely said something at the time of his arrest or soon after which was taken as an omission of guilt - and in the bizarre Wizarding legal system, perhaps that negated the need for a trial.
