The Meteor

At left is a statue of the fallen angel Lucifer by sculptor Joseph Geefs, for the Cathedral at Liège, Belgium. It is titled L’Ange du Mal (the Angel of Evil). It was deemed to be inappropriately alluring with an unhealthy beauty, and removed. The cathedral commissioned a replacement from Joseph’s brother, the sculptor Guillaume Geefs, (shown at right) which is titled Le Génie du Mal (The Genius of Evil). I guess the chains and the half-eaten apple made it okay.

not a ton is known about pumpkin dryads and they have a lot of variation. their magic tends to be geared towards things associated with the fall like harvests and the transitional properties of nature, but they also dip into ‘crossroad’ deals and herding lost souls on occasion. they tend to get on okay with humans as long as the humans in question aren’t disrespectful of their patches, but they also have a reputation for being deeply weird. so you’re welcome to make friends as long as you don’t mind all of…that.
