I imagine derek guarding stiles forest non-stop with his army and killing anyone that tries to go near it except if stiles allows someone ( probably a couple who wants stiles blessings to have children, or a child that wondered near the forest )

Stiles unironically saying he needs to ask permission to do some things and everyone clutches their pearls but for Stiles it’s just common sense. Derek is not only his boyfriend or mate he’s also his Alpha. Stiles asking him permission for some things is just very normal.

its also less about asking permission than Stiles seeking counsel basically and him acknowledging Derek as his Alpha. its also about respect. Stiles isn’t just one person, he’s part of something, he’s part of a wolf pack and he’s the Alpha mate and that comes with distinct set of behaviours and unwritten rules.

Do you guys think that stiles gets a little teary-eyed the first time derek's relaxed enough to fall asleep before him? Because I think he gets a little teary-eyed. He's often shown to be the one to realize the implications and gravity of a situation, especially in regards to information about Derek.
