Emma Swan: first scene and last scene.
I will never understand the C$ers who say that Emma today looks her happiest and healthiest. Ship or no ship, it’s undeniably obvious that Emma hasn’t been herself in a long time and it shows in her hair, clothing, how she talks, and how she carries herself.
I’m still trying to process this . . .
When Emma was going through Hook’s shit to throw it away, here is what she found:
The telescope he used to spy on her
An empty bottle of booze (just ONE?????)
A box full of all of his murder trinkets – you know, the stuff he lifted off of the corpses of the hundreds of people he killed
The only thing missing was an ACTUAL red flag.
But what is truly bothersome is the writers WROTE that scene to be bittersweet … … like, having that shit is normal and perfectly okay and kind of adorable actually that he hangs onto his mementos of crime and debauchery … . nope, nothing problematic here at all!

Step 1: Give your hero the most atrocious exit on her own show ever. EVER.
Step 2: Drop some heavy hints on the show that she’ll come back but let PR make it seem impossible
Step 3: Have the actress drop a bunch of hints that have to make every fan at least wonder if she’s coming back… I mean…. SERIOUSLY?! She even foreshadowed her being blonde a few days prior. FORESHADOWING, PEOPLE, IT IS A THING!
Step 4: Bring her the fuck back, make a big fuss about it
Everyone paying attention? Good.
Now let her character come out and declare her undying love for her son’s mom already. It’s not that fucking hard.
Step 5: Get all the awards.

One of the things that bother me the most about OUAT is that Regina spent six seasons redeeming herself with great effort. Meanwhile, Captain Guyliner did one half-good thing and was like “totally redeemed; so redeemed I even deserve True Love”. And then he spent 4 seasons going back and forth from evil to “I’m supposed to be good because the writers want me to date Emma”.

Emma - a far cry from happy ending.
Emma being in SB without Snowing, Henry and Regina is far from a happy ending.
Psychologically they made her cut ties with everyone around her except for hook.
Which means they isolated her. A common trait of very abusive relationships.
Now I am torn between thinking that A&E are just stupid and think it’s romantic or….
That they’re purely evil, for brain washing some of the audience into thinking it’s romantic and love.
Because it’s not….
It’s cruel, toxic and so wrong.
Not to mention, that technically she never found True Love. (it’s never been confirmed, I’ll say this until the day I die.)
I truly hope ouat gets canceled.
