this scale is unfortunately very unprecise. it focussed only on one dimension of a circumcision: how much skin is removed in total. But it totally disregards WHAT skin is removed. Circumcision can remove equal amounts of inner and outer foreskin, or more of either. This is as decisive as the “how much”. A good circumcision removes the entire foreskin. that includes the complete inner foreskin and the frenulum. The scar should be placed right within the sulcus of the glans, no mucuous membrane should be removed. None of the pictures above illustrates this style. There are only variations of high (=partial) circumcision.
