The sinking ship and the lighthouse, just like it had always been.

Haven couldn’t remember anything before the Curse of Poseidon. At eight years old she had nearly died, but woke up on the ship the next morning, no recollection of any of her life before. She never felt mournful of what she’d lost.

A young child raised on an adventurer’s ship full of rough, intimidating creatures, all just family to her. The Captain’s pseudo-daughter, practically born to ride the waves—she was going to be a captain of her own someday, she knew it.

The world was different on land: cold and harsh, selfish and isolated. No one had each other’s backs the way a crew did. No one cared for another. So when she saw the town of Gale begging for help, begging for someone to save them, she knew that was the only thing she could do.

“I can and I will protect them. Every. Single. Time.”

Hi! This is an account for my new story “This is Your Captain Speaking” because branding. Every post below is the building of Captain Haven, the story’s main character. In my original posts, snippets of the story are included for little sneak peeks 👀 so if you would like to read it (when it’s eventually out there), you can search for the quotes throughout the story. 

This story is based on a Dungeons and Dragons campaign I did with friends, obviously this time only from Haven’s perspective as she was the character I played. This project is really important to me and any information to where you can start reading are coming soon!!! 👀 👀 

i’m not sure how the file got deleted and lost, but i know it’s gone forever, and my only option is to rewrite from memory.

this comment kind of boosted me back up! this blog won’t wither and i WILL rewrite my story.

I don't think there is anything that can be done, unless any of you know a website or a program that can restore permanantly deleted Google Docs files after 30 days (I would appreciate it to the bottom of my heart if you would).

I lost the file. The whole story. Gone.
