Update: yes I still do ykw but not as much anymore and by that I mean just not many big hauls I remember 2 years ago when my Christmas haul covered my entire room floor and now I can’t even fill a small gift bag for myself😭😭😭

It’s been almost 4 months since I was caught by 0ffìcèrs at v/$ and got caught 2 times after that within the span of 2 weeks by an employee and a manager but I really felt like what happened at v/$ definitely fucked me over I haven’t been able to go anywhere the same since and compared to everything that I would get previously in one trip (look at past hauls ) I can’t even get half of that now because of how paranoid I’ve become.

Especially since summers coming up and I wanna be able to restock on some stuff that I’m running low on because the only time that I would be able to go out and be able to go to on these trips and stuff would be after school and I’m not going to be in school.

And another issue is that in my state once you’re 18 it doesn’t matter what amount you take if you get caught you WILL get arrested and I will be turning 18 soon so that makes me even more paranoid especially since I do plan on going to college I don’t want anythinggggg on my record

I’m having a hard time getting past it and the only things I can really lift now are snacks and little nick nacks once in a while

So basically there’s this store I always go to when I need something and I’ve never been caught there before this is my go to store because literally everywhere else is locked up

I kid you not the only thing I got was a shampoo lashes and some gum since I had a small purse and right before I even leave this lady who I can only assume is the manager comes up to me and says “just hand me the stuff” and explains how I can’t ever come back agian or she’ll call the police she was smart too she made sure to confront me where there were cameras😭😭she also mentioned how she had been watching me but??? Literally every place I conceal is a blind spot

so ig I literally can never go back the thing is I wouldn’t really gaf as much if it was any other store but this is the place I always go to when I actually need something so I’m kinda fucked , literally I feel like my best option is if I really need something to go once a month or every few months to restock on things I need but I’m ngl I think it’s a wrap

Soon I’m gonna be approaching a age where if I were to get caught no matter how much I get I could get arrested no questions asked so I’m just gonna have to learn how to make things do with what I have

Something is telling me I will have to go back eventually but besides that please share any tips on how to not get caught / raise suspicion

I guess this year isn’t for me because this is the third time within the span of a month where I’ve gotten caught

Besides that I will still remain active just no more hauls for now

I should’ve known smth was up when I first went in there but honestly my biggest mistake was thinking that I wouldn’t be caught and not being vigilant enough Ntm the fact that I was in a very populated area of the city

Thank Jesus the lp (undercover) and the police were super chill about it and just let me off with a warning that could’ve gone way worse if it was someone else

Im guessing when they knew my age and saw the stuff I got that’s when they were a little more chill about the situation

I honestly think I’m gonna take a break from lifting for a while now until further notice

But please be careful out there everyone and please be vigilant!!!! This situation could’ve been way worse and not to mention I have crazy strict parents

Mistakes a made and things to take note of

* I was in a super populated area of the city where they do take shoplifting more seriously especially in the state I’m in

*I wasn’t aware of my surroundings and I wasn’t observing the people around me , the whole time the undercover lp was right behind me and I “didn’t think much of it”

*the bag I used was kinda see thru and it’s easy to see the shape of what’s in the bag

*before I went into this store I had already lifted from a certain makeup brand that I’m not gonna name from across the street idk if they had alerted the stores near by to keep an eye out or what

*had the mentality of thinking that I wouldn’t get caught because I’ve been to vs before and hadn’t got caught

My problem:

I’ve been lifting for such a long time now but never have I been caught I guess at some point I started to think I was invincible and I would never be caught, WRONGGGGGG🗣️

And I genuinely want to stop or find some way to not gain the urge to lift everydamnday but I don’t know what to do I guess it finally caught up to me

Im still shaken up from all this and I don’t even know what to do when I get home maybe cry or idk but yeah
