I was asked why vegans dont eat cheese yesterday. I replied that animals suffer in the process of the cheese being made. The woman then replied,"that's what cows are for". I was shocked at that. Cows are not there so we can have milk. Cows are not here to make cheese. They are here because God or goddess created them and they have every right to live and be happy and at peace just like us.

I haven't had any dreams of poetry lately. I hope some new ones come along soon. I sleep almost 15 hours a night. I'm new in recovery so my brain needs time to heal. I love my boyfriend and I love my cat Stanley. I think about my siblings often and wonder when I will see them again. I have three sisters and a brother. I am the youngest. My anxiety is still an issue. It feels like the universe is peeling wide open when I get anxious and my mind is too small to comprehend the massive size of our existence.
