also, just a note: these dont always go in order, sometimes you circle back to one you’ve already been through, sometimes you skip a few steps, sometimes you have multiple at once, and some of them stretch out for longer than others! for me, numbness was the biggest thing I remember, I went through months and months of not being able to feel anything, and I’m really glad to see it written down here because people often think grief is just being really sad, and that doesn’t reflect my experiences with it at all.

can no longer listen to criticisms of how dumb people are in horror movies because it’s been half a year of a pandemic and we still can’t convince people to do something as basic as putting a piece of cloth over their face.
