A Capsule of Me

Took the 2.5 hour train ride down to Woonona (near Wollongong) to go to Jemma's house. Played beach cricket (I'm awful), got a lift on the back of a ute, had delicious shortbread Christmas cookies and vodka jelly shots in orange slices, watched a Venus Flytrap eat a fly and got a box of fantastic LUSH goodies from my secret Santa Mikey. 

Christmas Day @ NY's

So they say Christmas is all about family... but mine didn't do anything interesting on Christmas Day so I crashed NY's Christmas Day celebrations instead. We feasted on delicious food (omg that chicken pot?pan? pie was amazing), played Taboo and Settlers of Catan, pigged out on Ferrero Rocher, drank a biiit and I had never played Sims before so recreated NY and myself as Sims characters. Driving to NY's was also my first time driving solo, now that I'm all inde-Ps-endent :D 

I'd just like to say that I think our Sims versions are far too frumpy for our totally fabulous selves.

Boxing Day

Headed out to the city to use a $50 David Jones gift card I got on my birthday. Woke up late because I came back from NY's past midnight so only got to the city around noon. Understandably, it was chaos but I got what I wanted. Would have loved to browse more but had to go home for my uncle's Christmas party.

The food (especially the pavlova) was delicious. My cousins and I engaged in one and a half intense games of Monopoly which started a slight addiction that resulted in me playing Monopoly online when I got home. Oops.
