I know everyone is celebrating the 4th today and wanting to have a good time despite everything. However, the indigenous, black, and immigrant communities that this country is built using the blood and labor of are still here.
Speaking specifically on the indigenous communities, we’re still persisting and fighting for our right to exist here on turtle island, our home.
Every day I see irl the growing erasure of these groups to make a white ethnostate paradise for racists. Silence is still support, and ignorance will not stop the progress being made by the white supremacists in office.
TL;DR There are no illegals on stolen land, and we should think critically about what we are actually celebrating today. Thats all I want to say.
