Remember when you were a kid, and it was a hot, bright summer day and you were at a splash pad or a pool, and everything felt big and full of possibilities? like summer was never ending and life could be anything but you want to just stay there forever and have pizza and caprisuns and be dripping wet and cold but the sun was warm and you felt satisfaction and contentment like you never have before and never will after those days. I tasted that again today, for a moment. That’s that thing I’ve been chasing, that we as adults run after our whole lives like we aren’t enough but never know what it is. That’s it for me.

Wow I was just getting in bed (safe ocd space) and I looked down and the was just and ant crawling in me. Now what in the hell 1. How’d u get there 2. Oh yeah my ocd totally isn’t triggered by that but wtf can I do

God music really is the only thing I want to do but it’s literally and impossible mountain to climb. Like the music industry is impossible to break into and there’s so many people making songs now it’s like there’s no way to be heard so I’m scared to even try? I’m scared to learn and put in the effort and fail at something I love so much because there’s a flood of people doing it. Ugh idk

The only reason I can celebrate the 4th is because I’m grateful for what we do have. That we’re not being bombed. Of course this country is going to hell and the justice system collapsed a long time ago, but I will take my liberty and justice for all and fight for it.
