Nina Hayes x Awan Bitsui (Duster HBO Max)
Summary: Nina surprises Awan with a comic book he’s been eyeing. Cute Shenanigans ensue.

A/N: First time writing fanfiction and so excited I get to do it for this lovely pair. Guys go watch Duster(HBO Max) such a good show! These two stole the show for me and can’t wait to see more of them. Please be nice, I’m still new to writing 😭

“Hey! Are you here? I got something for you” Nina shouts from the front door of their shared apartment. Awan’s head appears from one of the rooms down the hall. Sleeves rolled up to his forearm and looked excited.
Nina takes big strides to jump into his arm as she grabs him for a big kiss. They’ve both had long days and seeing him has immediately brought the weight off her shoulders and is aching for his love. Awan stumbles back but gets a hold of his footing while holding Nina steady. joining her in the kiss.
“Hi, to you too” he says in between kisses
He grabs her thighs and wraps them around his waist as he starts walking to the kitchen counter. Awan always loved Kissing Nina. He always felt connected to her in a way he sometimes couldn’t describe. When kissing her he felt an even deeper need that they’re souls were joined together in dance. Swirling around each other in perfect harmony.
Awan placed Nina on the counter gently and let his hands roam her body. Hands moving up her thighs, parting them so he could slot in between them.
The kisses started to get more heavy as Nina slid her tongue inside his mouth. Just as Awan was about to return in the battle of the tongues. Nina pulls away with a loud pop and makes a moaning noise of thought.
“Mmm, oh my god! Your surprise” she slides off the counter and hurries to the couch to grab the comic she bought. Before she turns, she firmly states “ You have to close your eyes”
“Ugh, is this one of your pranks again — Last time wasn’t funny, I couldn’t get that weird goo out of my boots” Awan says, huffing his arms in annoyance.
“No, no, that was very funny. Seriously close your eyes you’re gonna love this” she says giggling.
“Fine, but I’m warning you” Awan says wagging his finger playfully, as he closes his eyes. Nina turns around and makes her way to him as she shuffles her way back on top of the shelf.
She tried so hard to find him this exact comic he kept going on about the past few weeks. Went to five different stores in Phoenix to get this Batman issue — something about a guy in a Bat suit. She had no clue but all she knew was that Awan loved it, which means she loved it and seeing him happy made her happy. Work has taken a toll on both of them and she hoped this would put a smile on his face.
She holds up the comic partially in front of her face.
“Okay, you can open your eyes,” she says excitedly.
Awan opens his eyes and blinks twice before he notices what’s staring in front of him. Batman Family #1 stares back at him and he is in Disbelief. He gently grabs the comic from her hands
“H-how did you find this?” He says in utter confusion.
“I know some people,” Nina shrugs.
Awan stares back at her like she hung the moon.
“Okay. I might have gone to five or six comic book stores waving my badge around demanding I get this issue” she says with a smug grin on her face.
“Nina, you shouldn’t have.I don’t know what to say. Thank you” he says as he grabs and pulls her in for a tight embrace.
“I’m assuming you like the gift?” Nina says jokingly, melting into his arms.
“Like? Babe I love it, the fact that I’ve been trying to get my hands on this for ages and you use your badge — which is not legal by the way, to get it. for Me.”
“Yeah I fucking like it” Awan says looking down at her brown eyes lovingly. Awan was excited to say the least, while still in their position on the counter Awan has not stopped describing to her in major detail about everything there is to know about this comic.
Nina loves when Awan goes on his nerdy tangents. He looks super sexy as his face twisted adorably for a moment, she could see the cogs turning in his brain.
If Nina knew that Awan would be so taken away with this comic and not willing to make out with her, she would have given it to him after. However, she couldn't resist.
“Nina, this is a limited edition Batman family issue, where Batman and Robin try to infiltrate Riddlers compound” Awan say’s continuing his speech.
Nina starts trailing kisses down his face, hoping he will get the hint. To no avail she moves onto his neck knowing this is his weak area. More trails of light kisses along his neck. She starts getting more impatient by adding teeth wanting to mark her territory.
She makes her way over Awan’s Adams apple, when she feels the vibrations of his moan Nina knew she had him coming back.
“F-fun f-fact, this issue was originally — fuck baby. I’m trying to tell you about the comic” he says moaning.
“Trying to have a moment”
Nina trails her hands down to his belt to undo it. Just as she’s about to unbutton his Jean. Awan grabs her wrist firmly and growls “I hear and FEEL you loud and clear”
Awan drops the comic on the counter and picks Nina up and hurries towards their bedroom. Nina squeals in delight having won the battle.
A/n: Ugh I love these two characters already! Hopefully the show will give us more of them in a romantic sense. Wow first fanfiction written, done! More to definitely come!
