The idea that those perpetrating abuse 'don't really love you.' As though *Abuser* is some special category of person that lacks normal human emotions. And when you internalize that idea too fully it makes it very easy to classify someone's actions as 'not really abuse' because you can tell that they genuinely care about you to it *can't really* be abuse.

i WAS a girl. i IDed as a girl early in my life. i recognized myself as a girl, called myself a girl, lived as a girl, and was a girl. who then IDed as a man. hence, F t M.

sorry not sorry if this comes off as needlessly hostile, but i've been getting a lot of shit from a lot of teenage trans kids about the language i use to describe my own goddamn experience, and i'm growing real fuckin weary of it.

i have elder trans friends who call themselves transsexuals and transvestites and trannies. are you going to seriously go to a 60-year-old trans person who survived the reagan years and tell her she's not allowed to use certain language to describe herself because it might offend the delicate sensibilities of some teenager on the internet?

Anon there are more people than you think who were girls who grew up into men, or boys who grew up into women, or girls or boys who grew up to be nonbinary. There is a rather obscure theory that girl and boy are distinct genders from man and woman and while the most common trajectory is that boys grow into men and girls grow into women it's not the rule.

I feel very protective of my former identity BECAUSE there's so little room in the Mainstream Trans Narrative ™️ for allowing gender to change.

I was a girl. Now I'm genderqueer. Maybe later I will find different words for myself.

THERE IS NO QUEER REVIEW BOARD

In so many pieces of work, if you want someone (or something) to appear bad, a cheap go-to is “oh they are chaotic.” Similarly, if you want someone to appear “quirky, likable, an outside force entering to help the protagonist, but distant enough to not be mistaken for them.”

No (or, rather, disclaimer: “In my professional folklore creating opinion: no.”

Order is an expected set of results or lack of results (etc).

Chaos is an unexpected set of results or lack of results (etc).

You dirtied your microwave because you cook in it and didn’t clean it. And/or it acquires residue and debris from the natural usage.

THE ORDER LINE:

The microwave exists. It existed previously. It will continue to exist. Nothing in this set of functions changes it’s existence in the past, present, and/or future.

The microwave is not clean. It was at the point of origin (when it was made). You know, via order, that microwaves are manufactured clean. There is an orderly process you are aware of that it became used and unclean. The debris of an expected nature and volume.

THE CHAOS VECTOR:

The microwave is now clean.

You did not clean the microwave. You are aware of it’s existence (see first point). You are aware of its status (second point). You did not clean it (this point).

You did not request it to be cleaned. No action or inaction of yours shifted this reality.
