like i’m gonna be so real but the only “generational talent” i’ve seen yesterday is arvid who’s managed to do a genuine overtake in monaco, managed his tyres exceptionally well and went from p15 to p6 while in a midfield car

some of the stitches in my sweater sleeve looked a lil off so i laddered down to see if it was a tension issue and behold, there was a dreaded Big Sideways Loop

update: i tried incorporating the Big Loop into my existing stitches and made more progress on the sleeve but there’s still a patch on the shoulder that looks really loose and off and i can’t be bothered to frog back again so i may be about to do the most insane thing i’ve ever done in regards to knitting: literally cut out the problem area and duplicate stitch over the hole

yeah its great how arvid lindblad got driver of the day because not only did he get his personal best result he did it as a rookie in monaco a notorious race for failures and dnfs- oh wait what? oh kimi got driver of the day? oh

in hindsight i think max dodged a bullet getting out of there lap one

arvid qualifying p16, running on 60+ lap old medium tyres for most of the race and getting a points finish, overtaking in monaco as a rookie, and getting his best result yet of p6... idc that's MY driver of the day 😌

reminder that max almost got pole in a car that was 6kg overweight and it took a mercedes rocketship to match that. there are genuinely levels to this shit.
