They had just prayed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy since it was about 3 pm. They were singing their prayers when I took this photo.

One of my favorite stories is this. St. Clare pushed back Moors invading Assisi when she presented our Lord to them. In front of this church is a statue of St. Clare holding a monstrance. If the Moors retreated at the sight of our Blessed Lord, shall we not be amazed all the more that our Lord is truly with us in the Blessed Sacrament? They do not understand and yet they tremble. Do we who believe show enough reverence for the Blessed Sacrament?
