perrishedâ:
PRESCOTT, calla.
âBeautiful girl,â Kyle greeted Calla with a bright smile, eyes hooded and vision a bit blurred, another late-night testing out a new potion, this one had him seeing fairies⌠or maybe they actually were fairies, there was no telling. He let out a soft hum as he tilted his head back looking up at the mother moon with a glint in his eyes, nodding in agreement, âNothing better than the night in Olympus,â He murmured, sliding his hands along the railings of the pier allowing himself to stretch out as much as possible, âWhat have you been up to tonight Calla hm? Any hot dates or?â He let his eyes drift to her hands smile softening as he took in the ink that stained them reaching to tug her arm up and inspect her palm, âLook at that, youâre filling in your lines, you know some witches change their fate by altering their lifelines?â
She was a little embarrassed about her ink-stained palms but let Kyle take them anyway. Calla always appreciated some company, most especially after sheâd drained almost all her energy on her art. Sheâs been fired up all night and could use some conversation to pull the tension she felt in her bones. âNothing much tonight, just been making some wedding invitations,â she said, âAnd as for hot dates - I guess I havenât been so lucky in that department.â Calla laughed a little at her own bluntness. Maybe a hot date would do her some good.
âHmm, Iâd like to take notes from some of those witches, then,â she continued, eyes on the steady flow of the waves. âFate and I have some talking to do,â Iâd also like to grab faith by the neck and show it whoâs boss, is what she didnât add. âHow about you,â she asked, âHowâs business at the shop? Iâve been on commission for some tattoo designs lately,â. She smiled at the thought of her little online art shop gaining more clientele. âMaybe we could collaborate ... â Calla trailed off, unsure if sheâd overstepped. Â
