So mine comes from among us, specifically around the time they added the account feature and you could generate random names and at some point i got "privygrid" and it like immediately resonated with me so i use it everywhere now

So this story begins way back when I was a tiny wee little 8th grader like [REDACTED - cuz I'm not sharing my age] years ago. It was about the start of the year and I had a friend who was a ✨youtuber✨ and back when I was in year 8 (and he was year 7), having about 100 subscribers was really awesome- and HE had about 100 subscribers. So I decided I wanted to make my OWN youtube channel.

At the time, I like- was obsessed with dragons- Like OBSESSED. I loved WOF, HTTYD (the books and the movies) and was like drafting my own dragon story ideas that I never actually expanded on. But I needed a youtube channel plan- and a theme. And so came fourth my main OC for about x number of years. She was a purple dragon with crystals. The youtube channel was gonna be called CrystalSky and the dragon OC's name was Sky and uh boy do I miss those good o' days (not) of cringy little me creating stories and plots all in my head and like 'woaj im gonna learn to get my lazy ass to animate and draw better and be a famous youtuber with these stories' but uh yeah plot twist that never happens 😂

So like the start of last year comes by when I finally decide to make a Youtube channel after like forgetting the idea about it for yonks cuz I felt like it but I didn't really have any name ideas so I just like- went with Skyyy. And it stuck ngl. While I abandoned that channel for multiple reasons it is still up and uh ig if you try hard enough (it's probably not that hard to find I have like 20 subscribers tho) you can watch the old videos. Right now, my friend has 150 subscribers exactly and HE hasn't given up. Youtube was fun while it lasted and I don't regret it because I met some pretty awesome people that I'm still friends with and I just have a small side channel thing where I comment on his videos and be's annoying so yeh.

"But.... why is Sky your name on Tumblr- and isn't that the name of one of your OC's in your story?" absolutely no one asked...

Why thank you for asking! Sky kinda has nostalgia for me now ngl. Yeah I'm Sky and I'm a goofy dragon- so what? I love the name Sky. It's so pretty ✨ But uh *cough* yes Skye is the name of one of the characters in my Rottmnt AU. Because before I started writing this AU, I would have my self-insert dragon character be able to turn into a human and she would like travel to different universes and whatever. And when I started writing this AU, I wanted to include her. But I quickly realized she would NOT fit into the plot whatsoever. But I still loved the name Sky so I made a different- unrelated to dragons whatsoever (well- kinda but only if you understand Rottmnt and the Purple Dragons) and her name is Skye so yeah!

But I also go by Blorble sometimes but not on many things- I think it's just google chat, my *new* channel and on my side Pinterest.

It’s my username on pretty much everything now—but when I got to Tumblr I learned that someone else had already taken my username! >:0 hence the ‘real’ pink ninja. (Definitely wasn’t salty at all, nope lol)

Ok, so back in highschool when I first started posting stories online, I decided I wanted to use a pen name to post under, something that sounded like a real name but was something I made up, like some professional writers actually have done. What I came up with is K.C. Anderson. (Tumblr doesn’t allow spaces and periods, obviously.)

The first part, K.C., came from the first two OCs I ever came up with, named Kyra and Carli, from some of my earliest fanfiction work. Were the stories they were made for my best work? No, but they were still an important part of my journey as a writer and I wanted to remember that, plus I thought the initials looked and sounded cool.

The Anderson part is actually more interesting. Back in the late 1800s, one of my great, great, I don’t remember how many greats grandfathers was in the military in Norway, and back then, his last name was Anderson. Apparently there were so many Andersons that the people in charge told them that they had to change their last name while they were in to something more unique so they could keep track of everyone easier. He did so, and after he was out of the military he decided to keep his chosen surname instead of switching back, and to this day, that’s what my last name is! So had that not happened, I would have been an Anderson, and I thought using it in my pen name instead would be cool!

Okay so this is a long story, Call-me-Red-moth is not actually the alias I normally use however I plan on using the normal one for my books cuz I plan to self publish.

So instead I decided to use Red which is an inside nickname for one of my characters and since this character is an important one in the first series I plan on finishing a book from(in progress) however since there was no shot at obtaining just “Red” I decided to reference an interaction in a later book.

So yeah, I guess that’s it because I don’t want to write a novel just to explain. Yippee

Reading: Currently reading The Fury by Alex Michaelides and the main character is annoying me senseless. Also reading Dark Heir by C.S Pacat which is the second in the Dark Rise series, first book annoyed me but Will and James’s dynamic is cool.

Last Series: The Summer Hikaru Died!!!!! (Still watching through it and reading through it but it was the last one I was watching so I think it counts)

Last Movie: Tarot (2024). The plots not good in the slightest but the costume design and set design was actually pretty good.

Last Song: St Agatha by Slate on Spotify! Highly recommend.

Sweet or Salty: Truthfully I’ll eat anything but I like sweet foods a lot!

Coffee or Tea: Can’t do the taste of coffee, I like caffeine though. So tea all the way! Love me a good chamomile.

Working on: Getting the foundation done for a new book idea involving a guy who gets trapped in a liminal style house! Also, doing a drawing of Mary Kline from the Backrooms movie and working on one of Makima from csm.

Reading: I’m on a reread of World trigger, I’m actively following Shrouded Sky(not a surprise to anyone) and I’m about to start The audacity of Sara Grayson and Ender’s game. I’ve been keeping my reading light so I can make more progress on my book.

Last series: that is a great question, it’s been a while since I found a series that held me to the end of the last book, so ima take a leap and say it was probably Dragon Watch. I’ve probably finished something else since then but honestly I can remember anything else rn.

Last movie(not sure what this means): …masters of the universe (2026) I watched it in theaters with some family. It was actually fantastic. Though if we’re talking most recently watched movie it would be Project Hail Mary (2026) cuz I watched that yesterday to show some friends.

Sweet or Salty: honestly depends on my mood, if I’m hungry it’s salty or savory but when I have my snackies I normally go for the homemade cookie dough or cocoa.

Coffee or tea: So I don’t really consume these things for a few reasons. The main one is that I have some allergy issues that make it so high concentrations of Caffeine makes me drunk and I’m not a fan of herbal tea. I do LOVE hot cocoa and will drink it in 100+ degree weather so option C) Cocoa

Currently working on: *sighs* okay so the list is- art, fanart, art studies, a pose reference sheet challenge, birthday art for characters, staying sane, some poetry, my self confidence in my work, book 1 of one of my stories. another one of my stories, character reference sheets for my characters, my Halloween costume(another one of my characters), learning how to manage my new haircut, and having an existential crisis about how long my story is so far in comparison to the timeline :D (apparently I’m writing a bleeping Brandon Sanderson novel)
