Hi! I really liked your work with Naoya, awwwwwww it's just something đ«Łđ
What do you think about the idea that when Maki killed the entire Zenin clan, Naoya survived, and the reader was his wife, and either Maki didn't make sure Naoya was dead, and the reader saved him, and maybe she had some kind of healing technique?
She saved Naoya, hid him in some village, and nursed him back to health. It would have been interesting to see how Naoya would have handled that situation. And then, at the end, Maki could have found them, and the reader would have begged her to spare him, and then Maki would have mentioned what a terrible husband Naoya was, and they would have had a dialogue.
I would be very glad and grateful if you noticed this request. đ And I'm sorry if there are any mistakes, English is not my native language and I use a translator in some places, so there may be misunderstandings.

You hate your husband. You hate your husband so much. Yet there you are, standing over his broken, pathetic form surrounded by an estate full of blood. Itâs almost ironic to see naoya in this state, vulnerable and weak. It stirs some sort of feeling in the pits of your soul, and maybe itâs what drives you to do what you did.
You drag him to a nearby rural area near the estate, its inhabitants immediately allowing you entry after you flash the zenin crest, they donât know the clanâs been slaughtered like lamb. There, you settle him on one of the beds before you do something that makes no sense, even for yourself. Curse energy pools in your hands like a practiced sword, a calm, humming force as you apply your palms to your husbandâs body. Willing his bones to mend and his skin to close.
On the second day, he awakes. âWhere- wha-? Where is she?â He doesnât ask anymore, just about her. Maki always scared you, she had power deep in her soul that youâve seen the moment you met her as a child. Naoyaâprideful, cocky Naoyaâis embarrassed. Heâs distraught, heâs listless. Heâs been beat by the very woman he used to mock and belittle, by a girl scorned by her own family. Itâs going to take a long time before he reconciles with himself.
On the third day, she finds you. She was hunting for naoya, of course, but her eyes are soft as they look at you.
Why. Why? Why would you heal and protect the very man that has made you a plaything your whole married life? Why would you heal someone whose name youâve cursed and sworn at? Youâre starting to think youâve gone mad.
âNo you donât,â sheâs sure, surer than even you, as she adds, âI may have been caught in my own life but Iâve seen what heâs done to you. Heâs a piece of goddamn shit. So, why?â
âBecause I believe that love grows.â
âYes. You will not kill him,â
ââŠthis is what you want?â
A second chance. A stupid, stupid chance that it will be different.
