09/02/2021 The snow is so peaceful so I've moved all of my desk bits to face the window. I had a crazy busy day yesterday but hopefully that makes today easier. I'm missing my boyfriend a lot today, we had the best snow days when we weren't long distance. X Emily

15th January: would you rather wear a winter coat in the summer or a swimming costume in the winter? Honestly I would rather a swimming costume in the winter! I hate being too hot in summer! I know I've missed loads of days of these but I've been working so hard it's been dark by the time I remember to take a photo! X Emily

Happy new year 🎈 I hope this year will treat us kinder than the last and tbh. I hope for an uneventful and boring 2021. The only goal I set for this year is to read at least one book each month, and I started off with “how do we know we’re doing it right” by Pandora Skyes. I like it so far; her thoughts and worries are not new, but at the same time, they’re very thought-provoking. Also, who likes to comment in the margins? For a very long time, I thought writing in a book was something of a taboo because the thought of worshipping a book is quite prevalent but writing down my thoughts and commenting things that I like or don’t like is really fun! Anyways, I wish everyone a wonderful start into the new year ✨✨✨✨

october and november were such good reading months for me!!! i was on such a big fantasy kick

found washi tape at michael’s with cameras on it! perfect for more screenwriting notes. the book is ‘save the cat’ by blake snyder and i can’t recommend it enough.

feeling pretty confident about this maths exam for the first time since i’ve been in university, if only thanks to online calculus calculators XD

2/100 days of productivity: first day back from thanksgiving break :(( but i attended my calculus zoom today n actually paid attention!!!! what a success!!! she really did that!!!! and i also took some (very messy) notes for ap enviro sci to somewhat prepare myself for the upcoming finals

today is not my day. my brain is all over the place but it’s okay... just wish my brain would function properly sometimes and allow me to focus for once
