Got a heavy weight off my chest back in february,, heh,,,

Been healing well, and got my checkup with the docs in may!!

It feels Really Really Amazing, to look in the mirror and it just, yknow, fits, it's what it's supposed to be,,

Even if the lack of sensation around the scars feel Really Funky, at least I feel whole in a way I don't think I've ever felt before, it's amazing and I'm so excited for summer

I had my first appointment with the surgeons in 2016, I was first told that they would go ahead with the top surgery regardless of whether I had reached the BMI requirements by the time of the surgery.

Then they called me back 3-4 hrs later, just as I got home from the 3 hr long drive, and told me the surgeon had misinformed me and that I needed to be below the BMI requirements first, and that I needed to contact them again once I had slimmed down.

I reached my goals last year and went to a second appointment with the surgeon in October, and now, I have finally, after 7 years of struggling with my self-image and my weight goals, I have received a letter.

Kinda nice to still feel masculine in clothes like this, feel like my shoulders help out a lot with that 😳
