Oh my God its so difficult to find a good picture of pedes dude. Spent most of my time trying to find the wall at the right angle, less obstructed and at a good quality 😭😭🙏 only for myself to obstruct it with a homemade vignette so that was all pretty futile. I love how the Pitt has pretty consistent lighting, so when I use references of characters it doesn't look weird when I put two scenes together. I am SO excited to do more art now that I've found that brush too it makes my art look so much more stylised and personal,, cant wait to create some bulllsshiiiiii 😂😂.

I'm actually a bit nervous 2 post this,, I started posting my art online to help with my anxiety n I haven't felt this nervous since starting a long while back- so I might delete this 4 my own sanity- I might not, I'm not sure yet,, just depends on how my stupid brain reacts to feedback. 😒🥀

I have been in LOVE with MMU since I was like,, 8 or 9, I think it was probably my first special interest. I wrote and presented a big book report in year 6 on the first novel (that my mum got sick of hearing and now audibly groans whenever I mention the book), and now I'm in YEAR 12 rereading all of them, and falling back in love with all the characters again. I remember when I was 11 or 10, finding a hardback signed copy of the first novel in Waterstones and genuinely on my knees BEGGING my uncle to buy it for me. I now I have 3 copies of the same book. LMAO; anyway, MMU really influenced me as a person, I see myself a lot in characters like Sherlock Holmes, but to see that type of character portrayed as a young British girl that was around my age really helped me boost my confidence and ive really looked up to Stevens for writing that!

I posted this on tik tok too (@/ meowzrrrs) !! I rarely post on there, cause I'm unashamedly a massive pussy but I'm getting less anxious to do so now. I did do this piece traditionally, and edited it, added details etcetera on ibis paint!

Hayden Anhedonia is one of the very few people who have crafted music that actually makes me FEEL feel something,, in a weird way it's a comforting thing to listen to, feel and analyse her music because it's the most eloquently patient things I have had the joy of reading and listening to.

It was amazing to feel seen when understanding her YouTube video of 'The Ring, The Great Dark, and proximity to God' and how she reflects such raw emotion in her work,, I'm always influenced and in awe at the things she creates so I thought it was high time I posted a drawing of her 🫶

I still feel like Im in the bottomless pit of hell™ at the moment, but I'm steadily getting better, trying to at least- so I'll be posting around the times I feel healthy enough to do so!

I'm actually quite proud of this.. I coloured by basically having it as a digital colouring book with the colouring layer on a multiply blending mode. I haven't properly used ibis paint as an actual art app in years, as I usually use it to edit my artwork to look less shit 😭 so this might be bad- I have no clue about the standard of digital art as I am not well versed on the matter🫡

This was an addition to a Dennis Whitaker piece on the right side of the dove, but I desperately wanted to post and colouring that boys hair is not for the weak- so it's gonna take me a little while longer to finish it, meaning it will be in a seperate post.

Everything used: 2B pencil, Prisma colour pencils, a white gel pen and blue/grey green highlighters as a base colour. Also sneak peak of the Whitaker edition! :
