The Addison apartments decided it was a bit bored of its old, worn down look. Not that they were gonna fix the outsides. Or the insides… or the mold in the walls..

But they decided to add a new amenity..a pool outside! 

The whole building was down there enjoying it on a hot summer day, Lisa asking if she could get people anything, never taking a break. Maple and Chug sharing an Ice pop. The gang all sat by the pool, Ash dipping her feet in with Sal, Todd and Larry just on the side. 

You were still in your room getting your swimsuit on. You finally tie the tricky tie in the back and grab a towel, your flip flops, and a book you’ve been reading and hop in the elevator to head down. 

Heading outside to be greeted by the rest of the gang, little ‘heys’ and waves but Larry.. just gazed at you. “Dude don’t be so weird” Sal nudged him teasingly. You sauntered over to the little lounge chairs Mr. Addison got to go with the pool, he said it wasn’t a real pool area without them.

Maybe you could have enjoyed it more if you weren't stuffy from the mold-

You sat down and stretched your legs out, letting your skin cook in the sun, a slight breeze moving in the air. Opening up your book and tuck the bookmark into your swim bottoms so you don't lose it. It was a wonderful day, the breeze moving the trees in a mesmerizing manner, birds singing, cute little bees playing around in the air. After a peaceful ten minutes and 7 pages down, you feel a dip in your seat by your legs. All you do is sigh, you already know who it is..

“Hey sunshine..” Larry came over to pester you, poking at your bare leg. 

You let set down your book giving him the look of, ‘you better not get in my nerve’ 

“Hi Larry” as much as you acted annoyed with him, he was your favorite person to hang around with, and you loved his taunting side..

He looks at your book and back at you, “you're just sitting over here reading? That’s boring Mr. Addison put in this fresh new pool and you're sitting reading?” he grabs your book, “oooooooooo Frankenstein.. Classic.” Larry said cheekily.

You grab back your book and put the book mark in before setting it on the side table. 

“He also put in the chairs, I’m enjoying his stuff!” You said vexed. 

Before you could say more he grabbed your wrists pulling you up.

“Not good enough! Come swimming!”

Next thing you know he tosses you both in. The bubbles around you dimming down as they rise to the surface. He comes up and smiles at you, you want to yell at him but you can’t help but chuckle 

“You're an asshole! The fuck was that for?” 

He grabs your waist and pulls you closer, letting out a snicker

 “Sorry sunshine, but I knew you wouldn’t get in without force, and see it’s not so bad huh?” 

“It's freezing!”

He holds you closer, "you'll warm up.”

He was right, about a minute later you were at a good body temperature. You scowled at him.

“I cant believe you threw me in..”

“Oh dont be so dramatic i just laid you in here.” he smirked.

His smirk went to his normal smile, he asked what part of your book you're on and you told him about it. Sal nudges Ash and the two look over, ‘Love birds’ they whisper tittering to each other.
