i have noticed that a decent amount of detransitioners are former transmedicalists. i wonder if this is because, as transmeds, we were viewing transition as the cure to our "medical condition," whereas people for whom trans is more of an identity are okay with transition simply providing aesthetic changes, and not actually fixing any deep-seated dissatisfaction with their life

idk personally i can tell when someones interest in butch lesbians/real dykes/studs is just them trying to be subversive or different or whatever. so like for u maybe this is weird and different but for me its just my dumb regular life and normal sexuality + gender expression. THANKFULLy this has only happened to me 4 or perhaps 5 times
