Just A Little Break

My first asparagus harvest ever. Can’t wait for the root systems to get more established. Right now it’s their first growth of their second year. If the stories are true I should have more than I can handle in another year or two.

Sitting down to watch hockey smut and thought a ridiculous caesar make the experience more immersive. So good. Like if a Bloody Mary walked around with her pussy out no fucks given.

Anyway, I was trying to do laundry, then started cleaning the fridge which led to making rice and somehow it seemed that digging in the junk drawer was a smart way to pass the time while rice cooked. This is why it in fact takes hours to fold laundry and not actually 10 minutes. Then fuckkng tumblr tax takes several more minutes.

Chives are coming up wild. Need to divide them up again.

Some of my seedlings so far. Broccoli and Brussels sprouts all took of and I need to thin them but not yet. The tomatoes, eggplants and peppers are pushing up and some of the savory and feverfew.

The bees and butterflies are loving the lavender.

For dinner it’s soup and couscous

Long day in the garden and it’s much too hot for me. I’m not built for warm weather. So sweaty but I burn too easily to wear anything lighter. (This is about as close as I get to a selfie)
